Maybe CM isn't somewhere being looked at currently, but if Doch goes he'll be replaced?

I’ve a feeling it’s a left back, the way when he talked about the difference positions needed that was the first out of his mouth, I may be completely ****ing wrong but it was just a thought

How easy Wednesday dominated the midfield on NYD was worrying.

Baz said a LB was more or less imminent on Tuesday.

The talk about fans being excited and showing the ambition of the club makes me think attacking player. No matter how good a LB is, it's hard to get excited over.

Having said that someone like Ryan Giles is hardly getting a kick for Luton, that would excite me.

Very suspect in a back 4 is Giles. Definitely a Fleming mould

Would be an excellent addition, seems to have lost his way a bit.

More the better for me. We're far too nice and still get ****ed over by refs, like at Wednesday

That's a different type of **** though. I'm all for more nastiness on the pitch. But Spence sounds like a twat off it and that's something we should avoid

Dunno. My socks might have been twitching if there had turned out to be anything that Toffolo link last year.

Don't know if it makes a difference. The feeling at Derby seems to be they'll get a good fee, potentially more, if it goes to a tribunal at the end of the season. Not sure how likely that would be as I'm no expert on tribunal fees but that's the story at their end.

They're trying to hang on for dear life, despite him indicating he wants away.

You'd have thought they'd get more with 6 months on his contract as opposed to just going down the tribunal route once it expires.

Was a similar situation with us and Ince - Blackpool valued him at 8m. Tribunal ordered us to pay 1.6 - 2.3m subject to appearances (that he largely didn't make for us).

They will still get a decent wedge from a tribunal as he’s been there since a young whipper and has made a lot of appearances for them.

Tribunal fees rarely reflect the donor clubs valuation though.

Kent would be a serious statement signing. Hope it’s a full back to be honest.

In this case it likely will, at the very least it gives them the leeway to try hold on to him for 6 months to attempt a promotion push. Both the club and the player are in a win/win situation.

Of course, if we turn up with the cash in this window, I expect he will be here. Same for any other championship club.
