Depends who gets thrown under the bus by these demands for a sacrifice. Are people still wanting KLD to sell up? re we hoping for Donald to come back, or maybe a Chansri figure who will drive us into the ground and back to L1? Not directed at you mate, but I feel like some just want to burn the club to the ground so they can say they were right
KLD has done a great job. No doubt about it. . Someone will carry the can on this because , honestly the Sunderland crowd won't let this go I dont think. A lot of good will and benefit of the doubt for the ownership group has went the journey so swift action is needed
I’m all for KLD he’s done a brilliant job but this has been a stinker and I’m not sure there’s really an argument in the clubs favour on this one. There’s been rumours for a while now surely him or someone close to him has picked up on this and had plenty of time to address it and if they haven’t then I’d have to ask what the f*ck have they been doing for the last few weeks? Have to agree that it’s alarming that someone within the club who’s likely local and understands the importance of this game has given the go ahead for it.
Mate I wouldn’t even put a black and white poster up in my father in laws shed for a laugh (he would kill me for starters) let alone the stadium of light. I can’t fathom it.
Directors and ownership distancing themselves from it Looks like another operational cock up. Football wise changes have been miraculous but Commercially and PR wise the club needs to get its act together Been far too many unnecessary cock ups. From my point of view being in the firing line in the North stand a lot stems from how they handled the away fans throwing ****e at us and refusing to really do anything about it. Suddenly Newcastle come to town and all things are possible. Hopefully this is the catalyst they will open their eyes find out where the problem lies and instigate some real change.
Crazy how they are doing so well with the hard stuff on the pitch. Good football people are hard to find Yet what should be easy bread and butter on the commercial and PR side they get it so wrong
An error of judgement or an oversight? Who in their right mind would think doing up the BCB like they did would be a good idea? Utter incompetence.
My view of this BCB thing, it’s a bad decision - they could have covered it up with something blank to save if getting mashed up and keep the paying corporates happy but put the pro mag stuff up that’s step too far. My response ‘silly boys’ , Question it aye, not let’s ‘prurtest’ or sack the board’. Daftness, but I’m not going to make myself angry over this. I’ll save my voice for their filthy board and players. As a general comment - this and Beale - some of our fans love to create drama. Object calmly through the right processes not like entitled mag-esque bell ends.
He’s unable to give the ownership any credit whatsoever for the turnaround at the club on the playing and financial side, but he’s always going to highlight the huge errors off the pitch including todays debacle when he’s given the opportunity.
Didnt think it would take long. Wonder if there is anything that lad actually likes apart from the sound of his own voice.
Unless the oversight was to leave the contractors to it and not assume they would put up black-and-white stuff?
Some whopper who contributes to WMS but has himself set up as the financial expert because he did a course in accountancy
