Same as you saint, and exactly the same scenario. I too can do without hearing the squeaky ramblings of................................... ..............Rat Boy
hated neville as a player.......As a pundit.........ermmmmmm, i think he is really good, completely unbiased, objective and just about what you would look for in a pundit.... he will break at some point though.....probably man Utd vs liverpool @ old trafford....Just watch for the vein in the forehead
He is going to step on some toes...like that of Chelsea manager's over David Liuz, as long as he do not do Andy Grey it is okay.He is learning fast.
How do we know that what neville said isnt a compliment....I have played a ten year old at fifa and he kicked my a***
neville is being sarcastic. does he mean suarez is not capable of doing that? why didn't he say that when suarez made a mince meat of ALL man-u defenders for kuyt to tap in? suarez is terror on any PL defender and they ALL know it. is that not why some defender/manager want to put him in the cooler?
I think Neville should re-phrase the sentence - "David Luiz looks like his being controlled by Skylarker on FIFA 12 using the new tactical defending system" And yeah I guess I agree he isn't the total **** I thought he would be, as a commentator/pundit..
It was just a throwaway comment, and I don't know why AVB feels the need to comment on it. It's true too - Luiz is always trying to dribble his way through to goal, and I don't think I've ever seen him retreat back to where he's supposed to be. He just stays upfield and it's purely luck that they don't get hit on the break, cos Terry would be useless on his own.
Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas hits back at Gary Neville "He plays for the team with most [world] titles, so be careful with what you're saying." Neville, now a television pundit, made the remarks about Luiz after Chelsea's home defeat by Liverpool in the Premier League http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16122746.stm
I can't believe he's still going on about it. He isn't one of the world's best defenders at all, and I think Neville's comment (which was a throwaway one at most) was pretty accurate.
Love to hate him & it's probably a deliberate ploy but he's been talking us up (defense at least ) even when we're not the featured match! Left me spluttering lol....
Perhaps Gary's been a closet LFC fan all these years and all the spite he showed us was out of frustration because he couldn't express his true love.
