Watched the Newcastle Nottingham forest game.
Forest man marked Bruno Guimaraes and targeted the full backs with pace. Newcastle were lost. Took Howe ages to realise what was going on.
Dont think we have the pace down the flanks that Forest have but Clarke and Roberts can cause them trouble. And if you take Guimaraes out of the game they struggle

I think Clarke has enough to caught them massive issues. Mayenda off the bench could be big. Our fastest player by far.

Pritchard to use his experience n mark bruno for me. Jobe is a talent but very poor out of possession at the minute so potentially use him wider if roberts isnt fit

There's going to be so many conflicted people if the club announce Amad on loan this evening.

Sorry but not buying that it wasn’t in some way approved. The banners literally fit perfectly over ours, perfect dimensions, I’m guessing that was luck? They’re not sorry they did it, they’re sorry they’ve been caught (well caught before the derby itself). Be surprised if there are no resignations as a minimum, and rightfully so

That one grates big time. If that is legit then it is an absolute shocker, zero defence.

Clarke vs livramento will be the key to us winning this game

Livramento is the best youngster ive scouted in the last 5 yrs, actually reccomended him to us for a loan move in January '21. Clarke will need to track him as hes such a powerful runner however he gets beat on the inside a lot which plays into Clarke's strength

It's definitely plausible that they were given access to the room, measured it up, then went away and made signs to fit.

This is where the difference lies for me. I hope we just stupidly gave them access and permission to cover stuff up. Rather than were involved in choosing WHAT covered. Both are wrong and incompetent. But one is subtly less ****e than the other

The contractor was there to cover our signs so yes they would have known the sizes

That’s plausible yes. Would Newcastle representatives that are allowed to do the set up go ahead with this without approval, knowing the uproar it would lead to and potential disagreements between club hierarchy’s following Sunderland backlash? I’m not sure, but the club has lost my trust to give them the benefit of the doubt unfortunately

Thats what the club are saying by the sound of it. Def appears the contractor has done it then quickly taking pics to send knowing itll go viral. Probably knowing that once the club found it they would be taken down.

Will see what the official announcement is 1st tho. Sounds like the contractor has played a blinder

No. Lots of volunteers were in the BCB helping change it all up. Some are Sunderland fans are took pictures. That's how it got out.

The biggest issue is not having someone senior there to supervise it then

Not a massive issue but one they need to learn from

Do you mean that it’s some sort of prank by the contractor who is likely a mag? And that’s what the club are suggesting? (Sorry if I’m misreading mate)

Beale likes his front 3 to be flexible and rotate. This is his first chance to implement his style as he's had 3 or 4 days on the training pitch.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Clarke spend sometime wide right at some point.

I'll certainly not have a go at any fans who went off it seeing those photos, social media is **** but I can 100% understand why people went ballistic over it all.

Some are more passionate than others and react in different ways, thats all.

Even if KLD is going nuts over it, surely someone at the club would have seen it going on the walls and reported it.

Its either been a prank or theyve been told to do it, suppose we will never really know tbh

Still hope theres a statement from the club tonight as thatll go a long way

I'd heard it was happening weeks ago... Mentioned on here wasn't it? So the idea hierarchy weren't aware doesn't wash with me
