Agreed mate, I’d like him to come out and face a fans forum personally, not restricted questions, honesty and transparency then we can hopefully put it behind us and continue on the right path

That's what I'd like too, but as someone pointed out this will likely already have been agreed to at a high level, rather than just some mag on the Sunderland staff realizing they can have a massive laugh.

Exactly this. It amazes how angry folk get about stuff. Noone will give a **** if we batter them on Saturday. I'm.sure there are reasons decisions have been taken. If they want to give us loads of money so there fans can have black and white banners up in a bar none of our fans will be in then so be it. Far more important things in life to worry about..

Won't make it right at all but, with a carefully worded statement, it might at least take the sting out of it for Saturday and see everyone get behind the team.

 

I don’t mean right this second but I think we’d all like to know the ins and outs of what’s gone on, draw a line under it and carry on just think it’s the best way to build bridges, as I’ve said I don’t want him gone, massive brain fart but his time here on the wholes been some of the most enjoyable in my lifetime so far

 

If they're not already behind the team why are they getting so upset?

 

I think whoever okayed this never expected the pics to be released 2 days early hoping to keep it secret till after the weekend
