Some American investment in coming? Obviously will get some fans excited but seems a way off and only a minority stake. And clearly we would need to know more about the investors.
After seeing what happened at Man.Utd. I am very dubious about selling even a share of the club into the hands of American investors.
The only way that I would feel comfortable about American investment is if Elton John has some involvement.
I still wonder what Elton meant when he said at his concert he would be getting more involved again when his tour finished.
And at Villa/Sunderland in the past. Ipswich have done well with them but then they couldn't be a lot worse. And no doubt the expectation from some will be spend a load of money and get in the Premier league whilst keeping splashing the cash like Bournemouth have.
Oh dear - what will we do without her? https://trainingground.guru/articles/female-pioneer-costa-leaves-watford-after-a-year
I'm sure all those associated with WFC - especially during the great days of GT & RJ will be absolutely delighted to know that Jeff Powell, that paragon of objective sports journalism has been awarded the MBE. Personally I am appalled.
GT was right as usual. We are a top 30 club. https://www.skysports.com/football/...ool-man-utd-arsenal-and-tottenham-in-top-four
It's like signing a new player. Colombian U20 striker Jorge Hurtado has joined the squad after his return from New York Red Bulls - shirt #17. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/24030429.watford-colombian-forward-hurtado-squad/
That post tells us nothing. No amount, repayment day, or what the club have put up as security. With income from transfers spread out over several years, cash flow is likely to be a problem for many clubs.
