The board have taken a win win opportunity against the scum and through a series of terrible decisions off the field they now need the players to do them a favour. Only a win would completely smooth this over now. Even if we go on to be successful with the ownership in place we will have a section of the fan base who wont forget this

I don't think this is an overreaction to say that the club shouldn't be putting signage for our biggest rivals up in the Black Cats bar, to me it seems like a completely ridiculous thing to do and the club must have known how this would go down with our fans. Especially after the ticket allocation carry on.

I do however think its a massive overreaction wanting KLD to sell up.

Take a look at the reaction though, particularly from the fanzines and we know how much influence they have to shape the mood of the fanbase. Fans are fickle but it's going to take quite some recovering from.

Derby matches are so emotive so i do get the outrage but the main thing is what happens on the pitch imo

Lessons will need to be learned from this but wanting our owner gone is ridiculous

My problem with it is the lack of connection to the fanbase. I'm deeply concerned that the only person who might think this is an acceptable idea would be a neutral. Which means whoever is making decisions at the club is a neutral. Which means they have no affinity to the club.
