Great that it's been overturned, doesn't really help if we come up 3 points short of the top 6 at the end of the season.
And to those you hold your hands up and say you were ****e. But when you're hamstrung by the ref, it's totally different.
Great news about Morton's red card, it just would have seemed very unjust to miss basically nearly 4 games including the sending off match, when the tackle was not endangering the player.
We were pretty poor prior to the red. We may have had another game like Boro and turned it round but we could have also wilted away. Credit to wednesday they were good on the day
It would be good if the FA turned around and said you wont have that refereee again,..,. some people posted about other dubious decisions against us plus sending off Tetteh...
It seems like every time we have a refereeing controversy it turns out it was Darren Bond. Even going back to League 1.
I'm not really sure what the rules are now exactly but I suspect it's not possible for him to get a ban. It should be though. Crying on the floor, beating the ground like that when you're absolutely fine. Not only is it unsporting and cheating but it's also unhelpful to people who've suffered genuine serious injury and need attention.
It always feels like the bad decisions go against us. I can't really think of any that have gone our way this season.
I can think of a couple of clear penalties that weren't awarded against us, though there's been one or two not awarded to us either.
I really am starting to wonder if you’ve ever even so much as played a game of 5 a side in your life? Those challenges do hurt, his foot was the other side of the ball and your ankle still takes the impact.
I've played hundreds of games of 5-a-side and I've literally never once seen someone on the floor beating the ground in pain but then be absolutely fine. If they did they'd be laughed off the pitch. Maybe it's different in Leicester but here that's an absolutely insane thing to suggest.
Great news about the red card. We need to bring in another CM quickly but maybe takes the pressure off a bit and stops any rash decisions bringing in the wrong player. As far as the result goes, I think Sheff Wed were too good for us on the day, maybe we could have nicked an undeserved point but I reckon thats about it.
Yeah I think this is really important. Losing Morton at this stage put us in a very obviously tricky position which other clubs will have been very happy to exploit. It's good to be able to appear a bit less desperate.
