Twins I like Crouch but the system T.P. use's doesn't suit him. That team above re-place Jones with Crouch would do for me every day of the week the supply for Crouch is in that team with Ether's and Pennant but.. We all the Stoke fans KNOW Tony Pulis won't be so bold! Plus, we're struggling to get both wingers fit and staying fit. Enjoy the game at the Brit but, I hope not too much. i haven't disappeared either. When it comes to stoke and predicting results i'm a bit of a jonah but i think we'll get more than 15 out of that lot. we'll beat everton wolves.blackburn villa and wigan and might get a point off spurs. I've got my rose tinted glasses on.
We rate him highly, but we now have the best part of 20 million tied up in Jones & Crouch who are rotating and do the same thing! Also, we cant play to Crouchies strengths so it was a flawed purchase!
I love Crouchy. However (the Man United game aside where he tore Ferdinand and Jones to pieces) we have not utilised him properly, i.e. played to his feet. He is not suited, like Jonny Walters, to the target man role. Jones and Walters has a better balance to it. Unless Pulis bites the bullet and starts playing to Crouchy's strengths like we did against Man United then I cannot see how we can look a good team with him in it, the way we lineup up front.
For me the first game is going to be a biggy. I hope i'm wrong but I can't see us beating them on current form unless we fluke something. They've got nothing to lose so we need to be solid at the back and all over them like a rash.
I still stand by my views and that below 10 points he should be out, but I guess a few feel sooner than later is prefered? Post match thoughs and votes now?
