surprised Jota isn’t out for the season after that tackle by the keeper.
Or maybe he isn’t made out of class like some other LFC player.

Nailed on pen, can't see why it wouldn't be given as he clearly catches him? Never mind all about the way he falls, it's a pen.

i would have been giving dogs abuse at the ref the other way round and the clearly catches him is a bit strong as yes he was caught but on first viewing wasn't that clear .
The one obvious thing is this game shows how pointless VAR is as the linesmen got all calls right and var overturned no ref decisions .

Exactly my thoughts tbph, that VAR is pointless, because as you say the ref got the call right, and the same arguments would have existed without var, for some odd reason the governing bodies have some obsession with employing more officials with very little end product to show for the vast amount of money all this technology and it's operating bodies cost to keep.

I've said before if it must stay just have it as light touch for huge mistakes using just a quick look as that is all it should take .

Wham Vs Brighton, no idea how this one will go. Could do with a Brighton 0-2 win for FPL reasons.

FA Cup this weekend though I've just seen the first tie is on Thursday evening which is a bit odd (not to mention ****e for the fans).

Some ****e games picked for TV too. What's the obsession with showing all Prem ties in the 3rd round? Like who actually gives a **** about watching Burnley v Spurs or Palace v Everton in the FA Cup.

NE derby should be a cracker. Looking forward to that one.

Absolutely agree, should be picking the games where there could be an upset.

City at home to Huddersfield being on is another weird one which surely is of no interest to anyone outside of those clubs.
