We need to win this guy a trophy. Be a travesty if none of that prime Poch team leave this club with nothing to show for it. Son’s given us so much joy too through individual brilliance, deserves something in return.
I'm not overly enamoured by Conor Gallagher either but a number of pretty credible sources are saying that Ange is a big fan, so I will defer to his judgement. For me the more intriguing part of the Gallagher deal is that most reports suggest Poch doesn't want to sell him whereas Boehly and co. do. Whether or not he moves here, if he moves at all it does raise a question over how much control Poch actually has there.
He is one of the few players they can sell at a big profit which may be essential to get under the ffp rules.
Given they're sniffing around Todibo, that potentially puts us in a weird situation where us signing Gallagher guarantees us missing out on Todibo - which also does beg the question as to whether we're willing to hold off on Gallagher now in the hope that the Chavs fall into an FFP black hole and we get to put the screws to them later
For me the priority is a centre back over a centre midfielder but with the AFCON I can see why the club might choose a CM over a CB now. Either way I hope the signing is made asap.
TBH if we do sign a CM this month I can see it being a loan rather than a permanent signing, as CB is obviously the priority and LW seems to be on the agenda too That being said, there are a few DMs we've been linked with and, while there's a few who look like potential buy-and-loan-back jobs (Vermeeren at Antwerp being the current front-runner) there's certainly options in the SOuth American leagues who we've been linked with given it's their close season...well, as closed as their seaosns get, anyway
Need to speed up the Dragusin move. In by today or tomorrow morning and he could potentially play Friday night. Any later and it’s another game of enduring Emerson. We’ve suffered enough.
To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Man Utd have sent Reguilon back to Spurs at the earliest opportunity. Hopefully can get him sold on a permanent this month (doubtful though) Terrible player
According to Romano it's because Man Utd need the squad places for another January trolley dash So we sent him out on loan due to needing the squad places...then Man Utd send him back due to needing the squad places...so we plan to send him back out ASAP due to needing the squad places...
