Allahyar Greaves Jacob I actually only gave Jacob third in the hope that it would help people learn his name.
Mcloughlin until he went off Allahyar when he came on Not sure anyone who was on for the full match merited third place but probably Coyle
I usually vote, but not this time. The post above pretty much sums up why. Shambolic. Bright spots being the cameos from Allahyar and Jacob, but it would be a bit daft to vote for them. As posted above, Greaves tried hard to make things happen, but at the same time was all over the place (not in a good way). The 'leadership' point made remains so valid imo. Tbf, I didn't think the starting selection was too bad. The red messed things up of course, but for me Rosenior then compounded the problems with his changes & decision making. No issue with swapping one of Lokilo (or could have chosen Connolly instead I guess) for Docherty, but from half time onwards it was a cluster ****. There was absolutely no need to take McL off at half time, to bring on Christie and Twine. And then to throw the towel in with more than half an hour when all we needed was to grab a goal for it to be 'game on', was shocking and inexcusable. Just when I was trying hard to appreciate Rosenior a bit more. What a way to kill the New Year feelings of positivity; I'm still fuming this morning.
Macca - kept a clean sheet whilst he was on - ridiculous decision to take him off Delap - kept the Wendies back line busy - ridiculous decision to take him off Morton - good solid performance - ridiculous decision to send him off
You should vote for Fraizer Campbell every week, although it may take three decades for some to eventually spell his name correctly. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third. Sayyadmanesh 64 Greaves 40 Jacob 11 McLoughlin 10 Docherty 7 Jones 6 Delap 6 Twine 5 Morton 3 Coyle 3 Don't recall a second half substitute winning MOTM before. Certainly not two in the top three. Says a lot about how we got that game wrong, I suppose.
