I'm starting to see a few fans beginning to pave the way for excuses to use in defeat..injuries, fatigue etc etc , but the reality is Newcastle are winning this game. Sunderland are absolute trash and not even good enough to get promoted in a league when Burnley were made out to be the next Barcelona and look how well they're doing for heavens sake. It makes me wonder who's really got belief and who's just secretly flapping all the time, but regardless that shouldn't be used as yard stick when making assessments. 0-3 Newcastle.

Should be 4 or 5-0. Sunderland are ****e. They couldn't get out of the Championship ahead of Sheff Utd and Burnley ffs. Howe had better have us fired up ready to takeno prisoners. Any player that does not give 100% and plays ****e can **** off and leave.

This is the only game I will be arsed about this season now. I fully expect a win regardless of form. There's levels and Newcastle are a level up on this lot.
Crush, kill and destroy. With significant rest from the Liverpool game and before the City game, there is no reason not to play a full strength team. Battering the Mackems won't turn everything around, but will at least break this run and a win against them is never a bad thing.
The cup is all that's left of this season amd if we lose we might not hear the end of it for years. Howe has to get this win.
6th to 10th in the league is anyone's right now, all to play for there. With team changing signings like 2 years ago we can kick on there. FA Cup we should beat Mackems but will be tough from there, league cup was our big chance and we blew it.
Huge game for the manager, needs to get a big win vs the mackems or expect a P45 shortly as we aren't getting anything in the league this month...
