Referee had been good until the last 5-10mins when he made a few clear mistakes, players got irritated by it and his solution was to dish cards out; the very thing he wasn't doing to cause that frustration in the first place but in the opposite direction for repetitive fouls
With the penalty, why did Trent stand holding the ball for so long before giving it to Salah? Doesn't normally do this due he? Was Trent going to take it?
Was no different to what happened with every other foul, referee just trying to gain control without realising he's losing control by doing that
Gonna be one of those nights - says everything that for all our chances (and pen) missed, the closest we got was Trent hitting the post from an impossible angle. Looks like we'll have dropped 6 (or even 7) points from our last 3 home games. Huge shame if we do that - this league (or being the team that chases City) is there for the taking this season.
