4th has been reserved for the Toon * *Not that I'm looking to wind-up the Gooners or the Chavs, of course
I hope you don't live to regret these statements, coz i think we will all suffer in an almost unparalled way. I do hope your right though
You never know you know,Modric might still want to go to Chelsea to help them back up again. By January who knows where they might be? I'm wondering can the 7 point gap between 7th and 8th be breached? Who out of Villa,QPR and Swansea ,Stoke etc can catch the top 7 teams?
True. But it's going to take a monumental capitulation for us to finish outside the top 4 this season. even if Chelsea and Liverpool up their games, and even if both Arsenal and the Toon continue with their fine form, third place is for us to lose, let alone 4th. Personally, I want to see us pushing United all the way for 2nd, just to keep the lads on their toes. Every side is going to lose some games (apart, perhaps, from City), but the only games that we are going to find tough are exactly the same games that the other CL wannabes are going to find tough, too. This is the best placed I've ever seen us, at this point in a season.
I hope we can keep this form up too,atm i would say we can and this is the best start we've had since 66/67 i think, the year i started surporting Spurs.
Arsenal are still hanging in there, after a lucky draw against Fulham. I wonder if 'Pool will be able to keep within striking distance of 5th?
The battle for 5th is going to be exciting isn't it, Everton and Norwich could be joining the race for Europa soon too!
Its hard to tell what will happen at the top of the premiership. I have this feeling that Man City will implode a la Newcastle in 1996. This is perhaps the best season ever for Spurs to win the title since their 1986/1987 campaign. My club Manchester United can never be ruled out because come the end of the season they are always there or thereabouts in terms of the league title. The top three slots in the premiership at the end of the season will definately be Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal will battle for 4th slot but I wouldent rule Newcastle out. Im sure theres going to be alot of suprises come the end of the season
