I don't mind possession football but NOT for the sake of passing square and back endlessly.
    Bloody dire watch.

James needs to lean to pass forward ffs!! No point getting in a striker in the window if we can’t create chances for them. More passes go square or backwards than forwards. There appears a distinct change in tactics today regarding getting crosses into the box v recent games. Hardly any today, is that LM recognising we can’t win any, so trying to penetrate along the ground?

The murmured reactions from the crowd just about sum up a boring first half and our lack of pressure and ability in the final third are our achilles heel every time. When we are pressing high up the pitch and follow it up with passes all the way back to Max within a few plays continues to bug our flowing play that we saw in a couple of recent performances. I think this is a weak starting line-up but perhaps Liam is giving some players a slight break during a busy season and it's showing up in a poor performance which has to be addressed otherwise we could fall by our mistakes. Millwall are no mugs and are handling our forwards with relative ease so far and I think changes will be needed soon if we want the three points on the table today.

Wow I'm glad I'm not the only one bored to death with this passing back and back nonsense with nothing to offer when we get close to their goal. Weimann should be subbed and get some new players on who can create more than this rubbish. When the team captain looks totally bored with his involvement then something is horribly wrong.

Millwall are upping the ante and put us under pressure from a corner kick where we were flapping at air. Subs look to be coming on soon and we can only hope that the tempo heats up for us. Weimann off for Sykes and Gardner-Hickman on and I think this could boost us to a better performance.

Millwall are bossing us right now and I can see a 0-1 final score coming our way unless we wake up. Mehmeti's ball skills are sadly lacking and if we bring on Wells for Conway then I think we will be lucky to get a point. Dismal all over the place today.

Mark Sykes off already and his replacement in Cornick doesn't fill me with hope.

As per usual when we get in a decent league position we flatter to deceive
    Now we’ll get nothing
We’re simply not good enough to mount a promotion or get a play off spot

What did I just predict and here it is a 1-0 win for Millwall. The real ugly Bristol City showed up today and we have no idea how to create chances and even if we do we have nobody capable of putting the ball in the net. I saw this one coming immediately we kicked off and the old City showed up and expected a win without putting in any effort. Bad starting line-up created this debacle I hate to say.

The loud boos ring in the New Year and after we had some good play over the last 4 or 5 games we came to our home ground and stunk the place out. Liam has to get new blood if he really wants to excite the supporters because this lot couldn't create the slightest chance if they had stayed out there until next Christmas.

Different managers come and go but the same old failings always stay behind
Wholesale changes to the squad are needed either in January or at the end of the season if we’re to progress
A Goalkeeper and Centre Forward needed urgently for a start

Until the forced substitution of Sykes, we changed a player but played the same system.
Why ? Our system was going nowhere except sideways and back.
They deserved their win, I have no complaints.
Other than the Knight header from a set piece in the first half we didn't create another chance today.
Dire, awful, boring, mind numbing and bereft of any creative and aggressive play whatsoever.
    Bloody terrible Manning.
