    Come on Sheff Wed ...

... only a Hull win can push us off the top six.

A good first half performance and a decent second half I suppose. I can see where MB is coming from in his interview, we didn't have to be at our best in the second half because Preston weren't really pushing us and we were keeping them at arms length. Could we have stepped up if they did? Who knows but for me the game was won in the first half - when was the last time we could say that?

Excellent interview. Pushing the positive's but good to hear him say we need to tighten up out of possession.
    Well done MB

I didn’t hear that - watching on the telly , volume low. That’s ****ing disgraceful mind - people need to give their heads a proper shake or just shut the **** up & support

Aye thought Neil was really good with Ekwah, both complimented each other very well

Got a text of a european scout who was at the game:

'Your team has some talent. Big fan of your big centre back, Ballard, one for us to keep an eye on. Still looking at Neil, one of my players in the championship - might be out of price range now. There were a few other top scouts from top league sides here with me. Clarke and Jobe seem to be getting good buzz from them.'

He scouts for one of the better teams in Germany, surprised he was up for the game but i know hes been to watch Neil a lot over the last 12 months

Harsh on Hume and Neil. I thought Hume recovered from a shaky start to dominate the winger, thought Neil was clean and did mostly good work. Both 7's for me.

Aye if he played at the level he did in the first half all game every game there'd be no debate to be had, he'd be everyone's first name on the team sheet. Not the case unfortunately but he was very good today, first half especially.

He was really, really good today. He often is! Sometimes he's not. People get too upset when he's criticized. IMO he's peaked at championship, his attitude is spectacular and he will rightly end up being a club legend. Folk shouldn't go off the deep end when he's ****e and gets called out for it. I love him, I loved Nyron too, both limited, both legends, in my mind.

Thought Ekwah was immense, especially in the 1st half.

Rusyn needs a run of games, he’ll run through walls for us and the best is still to come from him.

Oh, another correct score prediction from me too!!

I think the second half we were crying out for an Evans type at times just to keep to ball and keep us ticking when it started to get abit frantic, I’m absolutely nit picking with that though, hopefully get that resolved in Jan

His performance in the 1st half was a joy to watch tbh, just a proper player when on it

Lost his man a couple of times and lost possession once or twice, but he was good overall. Some people just love to focus on anything he does wrong.

Funnily enough, I thought Hume was poor on the ball today too - worse than 09 - but did good job defensively.

O'Nien's been on good form under Beale, second best rated player after Pritchard today. Looks like he's getting the best out of him.

Sorry to pull this mate but I didn't hear any booing? Each sub pretty much got a standing ovation coming off and those coming on were clapped on from where I was stood.

Was pretty noticeable mate a load of people around me reacted to it.

There was a big applause for Rusyn going off and noticeable boos when said Ba name.

Not saying was widespread but it happened and was noticeable.
