I ****ing hate Neville but I am surprised at how unbiased he's becoming. I know he will always detest Liverpool but as long as it doesn't come through in his punditry and commentry then I think he should be judged soley on the quality of said punditry and commentary rather than the utter cock he was as a player (and still is).
actually..... you know what. Neville aint doing to badly on sky at all. If you leave behind club rivalry... and after all it is only in good fun.... he's not doing to shabby, you can relate to him much more than the spiv redknapp. But he was right luiz was bloody awful, his idea of defending was basically jumping into tackles or infront of guys and when he was outmsucled he's just give a free... plus he ran off down filed on a spree on numerous occasions and we just didn't exploit it.
It was a fair and amusing comment by Neville. I have to agree that i think he's been doing well on Sky after a nervous start. As for VB's response - perhaps its the pressure telling?
Its always going to be hard as to what Neville says as your wiating for him to slag us off. But the bloke is talking sense, and thats to his credit. I just wish more of the sky so called 'pundits' would follow his tune. All i will say is that how long can he keep up his openess, (which is very refreshing...) before his colleagues start telling him to come and sit on the fence with the rest of us... As for the Playstation quote i think AVB gets rattled at owt that seems to be even criticising his team, way of play, etc... Anyone with a modicum of sense will se he's just not even close to being a top class defender... I bet even pro-zone struggles to keep up with where the hell Luiz gets to... I bet they dont even class him as a defender...!!!
the longer the young lad (vb) goes on having issues at chelsea the better i think. they are not in the title race now so we may as well hope the slef destruct. I do have to wonder as well are the senior chelsea players out to get him? they do seem to have a track record after all......

I obviously hate Gary Neville but have got to admit he doesn't talk ****, he actually makes a good pundit/commentator. I assumed if he was commentating on us he would just be saying sly jibes every other sentence and thought it would drive me insane but this wasn't the case. As for AVB - the longer he thinks nothing is wrong with his defence the better. Teams are gonna be having a real go at Chelsea now and hopefully they implode
I haven't got Sky and if I watch the game in the pub the music gets cranked up just after the end so I never get to hear what the "experts" come out with. Going on what you guys are saying this seems to be a good thing- the last thing I need is to develop a grudging admiration for Gary Neville. God help us.
I agree, most of what he's coming out with is quite insightful, unbiased & fair. Currently he's head & shoulders above anything ****ing ITV can come up with.
