TM failed to adapt to teams sussing is out and setting the team up to supply the striker. You really need to the new gaffer time to suss the players out and see how we are back in January. The club are playing the long game while living within our means. Unfortunately, a large poole of our fans are very impatient and fickle like most clubs.
Yes but the SAG is a independent group with a safc representative on it, so if they and the police think it's safe then there isn't much the club can do about it. Anyway here's hoping we can watch 6000 Geordies in tears
It hasn't drained the positivity from safc, it's drained the positivity from some people on social media. Nobody wanted TM ( including me) and he turned out ok, so time will tell if he's a good or bad appt
It's drained the positivity so badly we've sold out the last two away games and will have 40,000 there tomorrow ... ... there's a fair few clubs would love to be that negative
How can a coach being in a position of being a coach be way above any other they are likely to obtain. What position do you suppose a coach should be in other than a coach, yet again just spouting ****e because we employed someone you don't want
Do you ever actually answer a direct question? I smell WUM, You constantly say Beale is wrong etc (seemingly, we might as well have got that idiot mag who warned SAFC fans about the derby looking at your posts). You’ve given zero logical reason (opinion k fair enough, but based on what as you talk like you know for certain) why he will take the club backwards. You’ve been directly asked a question as to who will be better, given reasons based on farcical stuff as to why he won’t be any good (minimal pro playing time ffs! Will still was good at championship manager dwasn’t he?). How much do you know about Beale in reality? And who is a better available option? Answer the direct question, not with a “anyone but him” just answer it
Not forgetting how highly rated these 2 coaches this poster talks about are! And he seems to want them out of the club!!
I know his record is of very limited management experience and is mediocre - hasn't lasted a year in either job. I know the atmosphere in his first game was really flat. I know he waited until 3-0 down to make a sub when the whole crowd could see it wasn't working after 25mins. I know he watched Burstow have a stinker in the u23s and has recently selected him ahead of slightly better performing team mates. These doubts are legitimate reasons for thinking it's a poor appointment. Robins, OGS, Cooper off the top of my head better options by a country mile imo.
Robins has just signed a four year extension so that's a non-starter ... OGS hasn't managed in this league for a decade, I think he lasted a month. He hasn't managed anywhere recently and may never again. Cooper will probably go to Palace and won't drop to this league.
Robins a man who has just signed a new contract and has, wrongly, got full control at Coventry is not going to leave. You complain about Beale 'failing' everywhere yet suggest OGS? What has he done to deserve a job in Football anywhere? Cooper was still in a job, will still be being paid huge wages by Forest and will be waiting for a prem job. If you are going to continue to slate the club at least give us some realistic suggestions.
Alex Neil hadn't managed in league 1 at all so that's irrelevant. Seems like people are now trying to convince themselves Beale was virtually the only realistic available head coach. I disagree obviously - anyway enjoy the match, hopefully Beale starts to prove me wrong.
Neil had just been sacked by his two previous clubs including a poor stint at Preston so realistically his only option was to drop down. Cooper on the other hand has credit in the bank, a recent promotion and a decent first season in PL football. So no, not 'irrelevant'. Beale was absolutely not the only realistic and available head coach, but you aren't even listening to reason and are instead just continuing to spin a narrative and then you pull out the old 'hopefully he proves me wrong' bullshit which is just there to cover your back, because realistically you want nothing more than to be right.
No-one is doing that ... ... although some seem to be trying to convince themselves he's the worst possible choice. Personally I've no idea but he's the club's choice so that's that for me. Alex Neil, BTW, took an excellent L1 team down the table and finished lower than when he arrived.
Calm down and stop getting personal for a start. If you think I'm going to the game wanting to watch rubbish football and get beat you are going down the wrong road as that's just plain daft.
Beale won’t have been the only coach but your preferred options weren’t very credible, maybe OGS, anyone rise better than Beale? Did you want Still ?
No idea how that's relevant in any way ... ... or can managers only manage a football team in a certain league. The straws you're grasping are becoming more and more flimsy tbh. Anyway, match day.
OGS hasn't managed in this league for over a decade you say? Then I point out Neil was successful in L1 and hadn't ever managed there. That's why it's relevant to this discussion. No need to apologise - I'll take it as an oversight.
Is there no one on here who needs half a season ticket, can they buy his so he can bugger off now so we don’t have listen to the miserable sod for another 20+ games.
