Not this bloke. Honestly if Boro, Bolton, Pompey, Derby or Leeds had appointed Beale would any of us be thinking we have missed the boat here?
Why is he not? I'm not saying he is going to suddenly transform us but I'm prepared to give him a chance. He's a world class coach according to someone I know who has worked with him, has been involved with numerous big clubs who clearly see something in him. He's had two managerial gigs, the first went well enough for wolves to want him and then rangers to reappoint him. If he was that useless then why did they want him so desperately? It didn't work out at rangers but very few have been a success at that basket.case of a.club in recent years. There was a lot of other factors there too that you don't know about. The other difference is He's a head coach here and not a manager so can focus on what he's good at. There are no guarantees with any appointment but to be so against someone the way you are is pretty pathetic.
Well we will see. You seem to be so pro Beale with nothing to back it up is pretty pathetic imo. His appointment has drained positivity from safc - you don't want to hear this but its a fact.
I can't speak for SAFC but it certainly appears to have drained any positivity from you. As in all things time will tell, you may be right, you may be wrong, we shall see.
Rangers fans to be fair have seen far more of him than we have, and not all are whiny far from it. Lets see how he does, so far OK the test is yet to come.
I've just explained why in my post which you obviously haven't read. It's only ill informed people like you who seem to have had the positivity sucked out of them. You don't like him but have no real reason other than he.didnt do well at rangers.
We might be in 6 months time. Equally, we might be pulling our puds now if we got in a 'name' but regretting it fairly quickly.
I did read your post - you obviously didn't read my previous post where I set out the reasons I thought this was a very poor appointment.
No it's not, but you don't want to hear that. You seem to like to make big claims based on very little ... ... but pull people down for doing the same. i seem to remember you said Dodds and Proctor should be run out of the club, 'spineless' i think was your word. What was that based on?
Not sure mate - but it isn't healthy that the head coach has to work with 2 untouchable coaches that report directly back to speakman - can you not see this as being awfully negative?
I'd say having two valued coaches and a head coach who happily work as a team with the sporting director is totally positive ... ... I've no idea how anyone can see it as anything negative. Would you prefer conflict and cliques.
That is quite literally how most clubs in football work these days. Continuity is key. And they aren't untouchable, if things were going badly they would be replaced, but things aren't going badly and its quite well documented that Dodds is very very good at his role.
If the head coach wasn't happy with the situation he wouldn't have taken the job, in my opinion. It could be that the head coach knew the abilities of the people he would be working with and was happy to do so. It may also be the case that the head coach feels that only little tweaks are required, evolution rather than revolution. All of the above is speculation as none of us know the exact position, though I hope it will be fun to find out how it plays out. It's never boring supporting SAFC.
The head coach maybe has fallen into a position way above his capability. The other coaches are also in position way above any other they are likely to obtain. Just as likely as your scenario.
Again. Very disengenious. I've probably supported safc as long as you and still have a season ticket, go to away games etc. Opinions are allowed still.
