Huge win, especially after those rotters lost. Not a great performance by any means but clinical when it mattered. Udogie MOTM by some distance. Ran his heart out all game and defended brilliantly. Great having Bentancur back but yet again more injuries though, both Sarr and Veliz left in tears, really hope it’s nothing serious for either.
Hard fought victory against a very good team. Lo Celso and Son grew into the game and that more than anything gave us a better second half than the first. Bentancur going off also helped - he was well off the pace and Burnley was probably the more sensible option for his return. Just a point behind the Goons now so I'll take that all day. But these fecking injuries are just relentless! Never nice to see a player leave the field in tears, let alone two of them. Right then Daniel, the gaffer has more than fulfilled his side of the bargain. Time to get the cheque book out.
And yes, Richarlison scored but his misses were simply unforgivable. Games are won or lost in those moments and you cannot be satisfied with what we've seen having spent £60m.
What has Solomon done? Been injured, to me he is this season’s Danjuma. If he wasn’t a free transfer then I don’t think Spurs would have gone for him.
