It's hard to imagine SW will be as poor as they were in the home game here. They've picked up a little bit since but go at them from the start and they are there for the taking. As usual the first goal is important but I can't see anything but an away win here if they play with a positive attitude. I'll be having more than a nibble on an away win so when you are reading this thread for instructions on how to play the game LR you know what we want you to do... Attack, attack, attack!
Going to be a tough game....sadly they're putting a run together so they'll still think escape is doable ...1-1 or 2-2......they'll equalise late on. Bound to.
Anybody know if those 4k unsold tickets mean it’ll be pay in the day? Maybe people could don their Kappa retro gear & do a retro end take.
Unusual support for Humb plod, but they’re even trying to post boozers for City fans if they find out any are available. SYP are as ****ty as they come IMHO
Think they’re aware of the **** show sky have caused putting this at 5pm. Nearly 30k fans with 4k of us all trying to navigate this game with no post game public transport isn’t going to be fun
The more I think about it the more annoying it is. Unlikely to be back home until 10pm, on what is effectively a Sunday night
The no trams thing is not a plod thing, it's new years day and there is a much reduced service for everyone. Unless you're going to Meadowhall.
Oh I know it’s just unfortunate timing. More Sky’s fault than anything and I can’t imagine the police will be happy with giving 4k away fans after new years more time to drink
Park in Meadowhall. Have a beer in one of the bars/cafes in there. Catch a tram to Hillsborough. Be at stadium in about 50 mins...Job done. Assuming trams are running, of course.
**** the plod ....all useless ****s....having said that if one of your tyres is borderline you'll get caught....
Just remembered it was 50 years again Boxing Day just gone when fewer than 100 City fans made the journey to Hillsborough, this coming after the previous home game when most of Sledmere clapped to, “if you’re all going to Sheffield clap your hands” Some us us stupidly went in the supporters club pre match, whereupon a chair and glass throwing incident erupted after Gaz Marshall thrust the boot on a stick into a Wendies mush because the MC wanted to rein-act In The Summertime, by Mungo Jerry, the video makes sense of this. I had the foresight to go in seats but the rest were subjected to boots, punches and goz for the full match while plod did **** all, except say we should have stayed away. As I’ve said before going to away games was very dangerous back in the day, but it was bloody great, it’s like going to a tea party today. People eating apple crumble pre match, **** off.
