Pedant switch on. Entitled to ask and entitled to are different matters, plus an SAFC employee will be part of the SAG. Not saying I disagree with all the fuss, but they can ask for what they want and we will only get 6000 if the stadium safety advisor agrees that it is safe to do so. If they weren’t black and white twats I would feel sorry for the people involved in the logistics of complying with this bubble. Imagine having to accommodate that many people on buses and allocating tickets at the same time Right pedant switch off, have a great new year everyone and if going out stay safe, there are some reet arseholes out there.

I may not be paying attention but I'd say most of the posts I've seen about the BCB are from people saying how poor it is ... ... all of a sudden it's regarded as highly as the Stokoe statue.
Since I don't go to games anymore and I'm not from Sunderland I suppose my opinion doesn't count as much as some. But at least give Beale a chance. We all know we can't compete with the mags money wise. But if KLD's model gets us up and competing in the prem, it's something earned and to be proud of rather than bought. Happy new year ya fookas
No I don't want to be saying I told you so - that's really disingenuous. I'm generally positive - I have an opinion this is a woeful appointment-I've tried to say why that's all. I'm safc thru and thru since the 70s man. HNY to you and family too.
That was my point - he was dropping a level - a bit of a coup actually and so it proved. Your post is nonsense as you didn't grasp that point.
You are talking out your arse mate. Just keep making stuff up and finding reasons that Beale isn't right for job
The QPR thing is interesting. How were they doing under their previous manager? How well did his successor do? Edit- may be wrong, but he took them into playoff contention. They then fell away after he left and 18 months later finished 20th. From Planet Football:
I like many was a bit naffed off at the allocation but having reflected on it, feck them the more that are there the more that'll be crying into their gravy stained scarfs
The thing is mate, after 8 games QPR were top, they then went onto a **** run and dropped out of the play off places before he left. I didn't want him, like I said earlier I think we need a big bold character. However I am only interested in what he does at Sunderland. I'm old enough to remember McMenemy being great for Southampton and of course more recently Moyes at Everton and WHU. Sometimes the face just fits, here's hoping
I get this. Absolutely. But your argument about caring about he's done before just doesn't work when people keep saying he's got a **** record. I thought he was underwhelming, but having read a little more and considering his background, I can see how he could be a perfect fit. Saying that, I also thought that Wilkinson and Cotterill were a great combination at the time
That's what I'm getting at mate. I'm not too bothered about his record, which works both ways. People are also suggesting he's got a great record, well so did those I mentioned, there are no guarantees.
There are two things about Beale that really impress me. First, the sole owner of the club, with a large investment, has sacked a popular manager, given Beale a long contract to continue his project to build the club and reach the Premier League. Second, his sporting director has spoken highly of him and is risking a highly paid based on him succeeding. That'll do until I see enough of him to make up my own mind ... ... I won't be making a decision based on a bunch of whiny Rangers fans.
Who IS right for it then? People who were throwing names in the hat who we have absolutely no chance of getting.
Point of order, he's not the sole owner, Satori is still around for some bizarre reason. But I agree we have to back Beale and the owners until its impossible not to. Part of me does wonder if we won't really see the benefit until next season which seems a long way off but maybe its steps in the road
Fair point but KLD is in total control and has invested a lot of money, time and effort ... ... Satori just has shares, worth more than he paid, that he'll sell for the right offer.
Great post but it also strikes at the heart of the problem TBH. You haven't been moved mate, you never had a ticket for that game to start with. I've mentioned this before, but it would be on a par with saying you'd been moved if you couldn't get your season ticket seat for the Springsteen gig.
