Personally I don't see that, I see the club making executive decisions to sack Mowbray and appoint Beale, and a small but vociferous group of fans responding with toxicity to the sacking and the subsequent appointment.

That's right, but club's are entitled to apply for 15% up to 9000 tickets and if they meet the safety requirements of Safety Advisory Group it is very difficult to deny the allocation.

We have to give the bloke time and you hope the powers that be have a good window and give him the players we all think we need.

January could be an interesting month with transfers and more time between games to let him get his ideas across

I'm basing it on his record. It's poor.
You could understand the last 2 appointments as very sound in the circumstances - Neil at league one level was very good and Mowbray was ideal to steady us into a solid championship team with his experience and knowledge.
Just do not get this one at all - it's like adding another Dodds plus to Dodds and proctor.

How is his record poor? 20+ years coaching at some of the worlds biggest clubs. Better record in Scotland than Mowbray, was doing well with a very poor QPR squad, in fact they were higher in the table than us, which earned him an interview at Wolves and then got him the Rangers job.

It keeps getting repeated as though it's gospel but I don't see how it's poor either. There's a clear Old Firm skew to peoples' opinions and then others have blindly followed.

I didn't watch his Rangers side so can't comment too much but the win percentage is exceptional on paper and from what I see, his main failing last season was losing out to and failing to beat Postecoglu's Celtic which doesn't seem such a disgrace to me.

Won 9 lost 8 at QPR - mediocre.
Lasted 11 months at rangers losing 8 out of 43 games and had them in 3rd I think - poor by rangers standards.
Barely played pro and has less than 2 years managerial experience. Dress it up however you want to but there is alarm bells ringing here.
He's obviously a canny coach but so is Dodds and nobody seriously thought he was manager material.

With three points for a win and only one for a draw there's quite a margin where it's more beneficial to have a high win percentage but relatively high loss percentage than it is to be relatively low for both.

They finished thirty five points clear of third. At least half those losses were to Celtic - are Rangers expected to compete with Celtic under Postecoglu?

They are entitled to ask for 15%, and if the SAG and police agree there isn't a great deal the club can do. If it goes to a replay we get 6000 not sure what all the fuss is about.

Not sure if you've heard of an ex manager by the name of Arsene Wenger, going of your analysis of Beale then he would probably be **** aswell.
His playing career stretched a Huge 56 games at a very poor standard, he started his managerial career at Nancy where he was for 3 years with win percentage of 31% 34% and 21%.
I didn't want Beale, not many of us did, but I can't understand people commenting that he will take us backwards after 4 games.
Especially considering he has never held a head coaches roll before, he's been a coach or a manager.
Everywhere he's been as a coach everyone is full of praise for him, this could be the ideal scenario for him, also it may not be and he could be a complete failure.
I'm on the fence because I could go either way but I really hope he's successful here.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to say he will take the club backwards with no evidence amazes me. 99% of our fans probably didn't have a clue who he was before we were linked with him and are going of gossip to judge the bloke.
Let's see how he gets on then judge him

Look at how they faired after he left. That should tell you everything.

Playing career means nothing, look at how Gerrard and Lampard are getting on.

    Kieran McKenna had zero.

    We don't employ a manager.

They clearly have hence all that has happened at the club on the playing side since they came in.

OK mate, nothing more you can say.

I expect your next post will be 'told you so' ...

... I'll keep an eye out for it but, in the meantime, all the best for 2024.

Don't think Neil had ever managed at l1 level so think that's nonsense.
