Only Ross Stewart I think you will find was the fans choice if he had stayed...He had and was proving what a good striker is. Yes, even his limitations were beginning to show at times but out of the three you have named Stewart was by far the best one. looking back now, we done very well to get £10m for him as after watching and playing the game for more years than I care to remember, It may well be the last we see of the Lochness Drogba. As for Tom Cannon, he played everyone off. He was not our player nor was he ever likely to have been but that is now Leicester problem in signing an injured player. As for Simm. More than " a few" saw the limit of Simms capabilities and qualities while he was on loan here. More than a few, myself included, were never convinced he had the makings of a very good /lower end EPL striker as it as he is proving at Coventry. Yes he scored a few goals but.he was far too slow. Quite a number of Simms goals for us were in the box "tap ins" not set up for the way we now play.. He was never going to be a Ross Stewart MkII As for behind the scenes, there have been some good improvements I do agree but we can also, only speculate the chaos going on from what has been happening these past 6 weeks. Can anyone really say it is now all tickety boo so speak.
There was a poll on the RTG forum. Over a third of fans want KLD to sell up. It’s utter madness to me.
Can I go on record as saying I never heard a single living being call Maguire ‘The King’ More like the ****ing food bin.
I didn’t see that vote. A third is ****in preposterous I have no ide what they’re thinking. Who do thy want, SD and CM back or Arab bastards sports washing.
How has the toxicity cause me from the club? The toxicity has come from some fans who have it in there heads that this appt won't work before he has even had a chance.
Again which doesn't reflect the huge majority that either want kld to stay or have concerns about things
Not sure what all the fuss is about the mags, they were entitled the those tickets, so the club have to put them somewhere in the ground
My season ticket is in the North Stand so I’ve been moved. I’m not delighted about it but understand the reasoning. I’d probably rather be moved than have stuff rain down on me from those smelly tossers. People are going on about the Black Cat Bar as though it’s sacred or something though. It’s not the cenotaph for ****’s sake.
Problem with RTG forum is they are a minority who normalise these ridiculous argument's Of the lads I meet up with for the game half have never heard of RTG and the rest never bother with it They think they speak for the fan base. They don’t
Feels like them up the road at the minute. Some of the vitriol pointed at Beale and the board is a joke. As I said on the match day thread, Tony had won 2 in 9 or 10. Since he went, we’ve won 3 in 5 and lost 1. Had he not been so oiled, these “fans” who blatantly won’t give Beale a chance because he’s not Guardiola, (sarcasm in that btw) would’ve been on his back. Would’ve demanded him gone. Some of the fans need to take stock. We’re a little better off than last season I believe points wise. We weren’t playing great when Tony was relieved of his duties. Give the new guy a chance. It’s obvious he’ll get less chance than probably Will Still (etc.)would have. But give him some sort of chanve
How do you know he won't be any good, on the 2 jobs he's had so far He's new to the head coach job but apparently he will take the club backwards with no evidence to support it. I remember when we signed an unknown striker called Kevin Phillips people complained we hadn't signed a recognised striker. We signed Dennis Smith from York city ffs and look at how well he did. We had ran out of ideas with TM, Beale has not had time to implement many changes. Each coach that KLD has employed has improved us, Beale has had a better start than the last 2 coaches after 4 games but apparently hes ****. How anyone can say he will take us backwards after 4 games I think it is more a case of you didn't get the coach you wanted so you'll write him off
Whilst it wasn’t the clubs sole decision to give them the allocation, neither are NUFC “entitled” to it. It’s “up to 15% dependent on the SAG, which will include a Sunderland employee. In effect, no one is entitled to the full allocation.
I’m **** at maths mate. That’s what I sort of mean though. You can’t say they are entitled to it, it’s down to the advisory group.
I know mate, I just think the club are getting too much stick when it wasn’t solely or mostly their decision. Any way it’s been done to death. 6 more sleeps.
