Mrs Chief wandering around the house muttering as she 'tidies' before tonight.

Or talking to me from a different room where I can't hear it. Full on mental woman prep mode.

I'm off out, golf in the wind and rain for a few hours, **** staying in the house.

Always interesting to see a hotel’s take on a Full English. A metal trough of pink sausages and overcooked eggs.

Yeah probably the one area of America I could do again, but probably San Fran and coastal South to San Diego. I wouldn't bother with Nevada, a lot of driving through a vastness of nothing to see rocks....and more rocks...ok if you are going for 3 or 4 weeks, otherwise it just chews into your time.

    I quite like rocks <whistle>

I'm there for 3 weeks, so we'll probs do that drive from Yosemite to Yellowstone over 2-3 days.

I know that drive down the PCH quite well as I've done it a few times now, and I've got a few friends dotted along the way. It's stunning, but I'd like to see some other parts of the West.

Excited to see Yellowstone before it explodes in a cataclysmic volcanic eruption that wipes out life on Earth, hope it doesn't happen when I'm there... and I've always wanted to see places like Montana and Wyoming.

Should be fun driving through the Rockies in a 30ft RV too ....

I'm having a beer now as the dulcet tones of YMCA fill the air.
