I missed out wood for 25m.

 

Even still £25.38m is a bargain

 

Most are bargains. But we needed them to get the squad to at least mid table standard I guess.

I'm talking about you........ the accountant, getting your sums wrong by about £375,000,000 give or take some shrapnel

 

Man I wish we had spend 375k. It would be like Ayoze Perez levels.

 

I just hit the wrong button. Easy to do when your doing people’s taxes.

 

When you see the 0’s on your post you can see what I was trying to say though. 375m sounds low. 375,000,000 is a **** load of money to spunk to be mid table.

 

Just put that into perspective. 375 million and we are about to go 11th after the next 3 premier league games.

 

I seem to remember widespread disbelief/laughter with the first 4,something along the lines of "richest club in the world" and buying nobodies yet 3 of them were the backbone of the team for nearly 2 years,bargains 1 and all.

 

Yeah but taking it further into context - £75m was spent simply keeping us in the PL.

 

And that was money well spent. Its the latter transfers that have been meh.

 

Really? Izak, Gordon, Botman, Livramento all successes and jury still out on Barnes and Tonali.

 

We are mid table.
