Al hammadi (apologies for the spelling) and langstaff both scoring again tonight, really wouldn’t be against a punt on either, playing men’s football and in excellent form, lower level so a risk but all signings are
I really hope it is mate because im sick of all these posters shooting other posters down for questioning the plan we're meant to have and then be made out that we know nothing. Ill echoe what ive said already, i dont like the way our club is being run. I respect whats happened over the last 2 years but we have no plan to build on that now with a load of unknown kids. We were lucky to borrow Amad last season and he got us to flirting with promotion. This season we are weaker and have no strikers that start a match so how is that building a team and progressing?
Certainly doesn’t match up with our ‘top 2 aims’ speakman mentioned at the start of the season, I’m all for the model but within reason, we can’t carry anymore kids we need more lads of the Ballard and Clarke ilk, ready to come in and make an immediate impact
The recruitment needs flexibility, that is certain. We cant keep expecting expecting to find cheap young kids that are match ready. It needs a mix and it feels like we have gone too far towards youth. Big 6 months on and off the pitch coming up I feel
this plan will take us back to league one with this lot in charge amatures in charge like Short etc. Godden, Coventry and Symnods ? from Blackburn Yan mvila yes i have has a drink !
Only three of the top ten Championship scorers are centre forwards. People are frustrated, as am I, but is 'taking a punt' on a L2 player less embarrassing than coaching the likes of Rusyn to play in the side.
He’ll have a lot more pocket money if he gets us up! I’m not in football circles so I’m sure it’s not as easy as ‘just buy a striker’ I’m not expecting us to move away from the signings we have been making, shame cos we’re so close to being an excellent side just needs a tiny bit of experience and first team quality
Like who? That would mean they haven’t had a contract since the summer and hasn’t played this season. Or have I read it totally wrong?
It is the annual capology table mate. For the 23/24 season. It admits some guesswork to it, but largely assumed to be close across the board.
I really like adebayo at Luton he’s the same age as Rusyn so potential we would be willing to spend, big lad, hassles defences, good in both boxes but highly doubt he’ll cut short his stay in the prem to come
No mate, a lot of players are now available at end of contract terms, will cost nothing or next to nowt
Hahaha aye you’ve got me there, honestly all Luton did was whip ball after ball in to the box and they could have scored 5, makes us all the more frustrating
