that's the truth and your manager needs to drop his hang ups about us as well. Supermac summed it up when he said he couldn't believe how everyone up here were more concerned about finishing top dogs in the north east instead of finishing top dogs in the country. Think we'll both finish top 10 anyway and would rather see Stoke,Blackburn and Wigan go down than the mackems. yes top dog in the north east would be nice but i'd rather we concentrated on breaking into the teams that qualify for the europa league every season and being one of them, would be good if they did as well. I would rather have a strong northeast like the northwest has.
I'll go for that chum so long as we are both not in the Bolton, Wigan and Blackburn bracket of course. Lol
nah i was aiming for the man city man u liverpool everton bracket when you mention the teams they have over there and then think it's just us 2 over here the possibilities are mind boggling just it's never been realised
Reality , sunderland premiership record is worse then Bolton Wigan and Blackburn, and Charlton Southampton Wimbledon Boro
It is true though, we are nothing really in the eyes of the PL, what have we done in the league? Nothing. We do have inspiration, passion and all the ingredients to do well though...just need someone to drive us there, especially with Quinny gone
I'm not convinced they will beat Wigan me. Yes they are no great shakes but we saw against us they can play a bit. They'll be every bit as desperate as Sunderland for the points and will view this as a relegation battle. I think Sunderland are in deep **** I didn't think they would be. They played 6 gamnes at home so far and picked up one win, 3 draws and 2 defeats. That is relegation form. A point a game at home is worrying. Their away form is decent when you consider who they've played. But they're doing that age old thing of starting really slowly but the manager keeps saying "we're about to turn the corner" yet they never do. I'd be disappointed now if the gap gets below 7 or 8 points over the course of the season because I think that will mean we've gone on a big slide. I just don't see Sunderland as good enough to catch it up without a lot of help from ourselves. Certainly not with fat head in charge, he is a numpty. Richardson still playing left back costing goals no doubt...................
It's hard to tell when you're talking about two of the most unpredictable sides in English football. Going on current form, I'd say we'll finish quite a bit above Sunderland. There's nothing about their game at the minute that suggests otherwise to me. But it can all change with a new manager, new players or a few injuries here and there. Sunderland could get better and we could get worse, or we could get better and Sunderland could get worse, who knows.
the kids are in its a long season but things change and its nice to see that the scum now do not think that they should automaticlly be above us and are now giving us some respect
