    Ok, what's the funniest/strangest/wierdest bet you've ever won?

    Not on the old maltese chaps scale, I had a random bet on the FA cup final a few years back. Called in to the bookies en route to the bar and had a couple of quid on Ljungberg to score first and Liverpool to win 2-1, 125-1.

    Imagine my suprise as Owen bagged the winner in the last few minutes and I jumped about like a mad man. It the ONLY time I have ever celebrated a Liverpool win or will ever again. Still, £250. What could I do?

    At Tesco the other week I procured a bottle of JD & Barcardi Gold made a combined saving of £18.

    and at Sainsburys I bought a litre bottle of Bacardi Oakheart (normally £23) for £14 and 1/2 Rioja Reserva for £6 odd, normal price £13 per bottle.

    I'm not really a gambler, on a visit to OT a few seasons ago for United vs Derby I had a £1 on the first to score and last to score and the final score.. Ronnie bagged a last minute penalty to complete my bet and won £85.. think I hugged everyone sat near me at the end of the game... Only to discover that my nearest bet fred betting shop was a half hour drive from home as the betting shops at OT shut after half time..
