If Newcastle can get a draw here and there I'll be surprised , but February like myself and others have been saying all month is when we should expect things to start improving.

I agree it can pick up. But this next 4 games I just see LLLL and that won’t be good for Howe.

The transfer window is open aswell. So it will be interesting to see if we add any players.

I am a negative mindset. I’m a NUFC fan. That’s just how I am made because of the Ashley era.

The reality is it doesn't matter about our mindsets what matters is who's got the best football sides and who's in form.

Newcastle are not as good at playing football as Liverpool at all Man City at all or Aston Villa on current form , so saying Newcastle will lose to them just makes sense.

But out of the Ashley, so meh, we are allowed to have this long lost thing called hope now.

Regardless of how up for it the Mackems will be, I honestly don't see them beating us, and this is not a game Howe will put out a suicide team for (like Sheff We'd last season), and he knows the importance of this, both for our season and for local rivalry, so he'll go all out for it. Will we "feel like we've been in a cup tie", to give a horrible cliché? Yes. We will get beat? I don't see it.

I hope you’re right. Honestly. I just want Howe to develop and get better. He’s made a good start but now needs to learn from this season.

We are allowed hope yes but people are also allowed to make judgements and comments on things like when Newcastle are not doing well or not as good as sides like Liverpool and Man City.

Peaks and troughs, Liverpool started badly under Klopp and were around mid table for a while when he came in, but stuck with him and have reaped the benefits. Also after that dreadful spell last season they're seeing the benefits again after he's re shaped the team.

Not saying Howe is Klopp level, but I hate the hire and fire knee-jerk philosophy, it never works. Howe has bought himself time, it needs to change fast, but I definitely still think he has a future here.

They've been trying for years and are actually not all as pleasant as Mick. I'm misunderstood, but when predicting Newcastle's failures I'm usually right unfortunately.

I'm interested in what the neutrals think of our chances vs Liverpool Man City and Aston Villa ?

I think its just the fact that basically every thread you go on there's you spamming the same stuff, forcing your opinion down everyone's throat and gloating about how you always knew x would happen.

I actually agree with a lot you say but discussing anything with you become tedious, no one wants to silence you, you just come across needlessly obnoxious on a football forum of all things <laugh>.

I say you'll concede goals but that's not really the problem. It's the lack of goals you're scoring you need to get right against Pool.

In the past six games, you've scored 1 goal in four of those, 0 in one, and only scored more than 1 in one.

I see the Pool game as a slugfest. You can't be going for a 0-1 it won't happen. I don't know why your goals have dried up nor the chances you're creating, but you have to go back to what was working.

I appreciate you have injuries and players are tired, but you have to be scoring 3 bare minimum in that game to get anything imo.

City and Villa really depends on what happens against Livpl and Sunderland. But I can see you getting a point in each.

Yeah I'm not saying everyone mate there's always going to be split opinions. I'm not overly keen on Phillips and in fact not overly keen any any apart from botman and Bruno, but the scouts know better than all us.

We should all celebrate each others different opinions on here. Everyone is fully entitled to say what they think I feel.

Munson would sharp change his tune if he stopped getting attention.

He craves it like a drug.

You react and he posts the same thing again and again. Dance monkey's dance.

It's great they were 3-0 up with 10 minutes to go, then the second something goes wrong they all gave up and get pounded from every angle.
