Not as I recall It was largely due to some fans thinking we could get bigger names and seeing him as a championship striker. Idiots basically. What's the question mark ? His attitude ?
I'd love to know who's had final say on transfers, who they've said yes and no to and who's been putting names forward and not been listened to. I'm sure we all know what working environments are like, but I can literally guarantee there's a voice being ignored that they should have listened to. I suspect Howe's fluke season has landed him with too much control... that's a guess but it's as good as anyone's.
I'm not saying you did mate..jees people take things personally but when I say the fans it's like saying the sheep. Loads and no point pointing at them individually.
Those three are fantastic Kudas looks an immense player. Paquetta is class. I mean world class. Bowen is their top scorer and has hit double figures in 5 seasons already.
Your last sentance. If I said that there’s people on here who would say I’m a bedwetter. I can live with it mind. Because I was right anyways.
Oh FFS, as if Munson's blathering wasn't enough, then you have to raise your distorted head. Blah blah - we're stuck in mid table, Eddie needs to be sacked, Barnes has no value, blah blah zzzz. In the same way you constantly berated Chris Wood despite the fact he kept us up and scored a hat trick against us the moment we sold him. This is a thread to discuss other matches in general, not for you and Munson to come out with your interminable "wah wah everything's rubbish, we're going to fail at everything, wah wah" crap. We're 4 points off the top 6 with half the season to go and new signings coming in, you ****ing clown. If everyone thought the way you do, ie the slightest bad run and the manager needs to be axed, then we'd be going through managers the way Mackems and Watford do.
If we lose the next three which is possible then our record will be lost 9/10 games (assuming you class the Chelsea cup game as a defeat). Not many managers at any level survive that mate. Add to the fact that we have lost against Everton Luton and Forrest and Bournemouth. Add to that our away form is the 2nd worst in the league. It’s clear there is something wrong. I am not (yet) and Eddie Howe out man. And I think Barnes is a good player but not what we needed. The season is going down the bog.
We have to lose to the Mackems in the cup tbf for that to happen, and yes losing that game would heap huge pressure on the manager, but I think we'll win that, and that could be something of a springboard going into January. Considering the injury crisis, I think we did extremely well up the last month, just things went to **** in December. A very bad run yes, but similar to what Liverpool went through in Jan/Feb, and something they've ridden out now. We need to see how/if new signings and the players returning turn things around.
I genuinely don’t think we will win a game in January. It’s horrendous and at this time when our players are shot. Out form is shot. Confidence is also. You just don’t want to face a Sunderland team where they don’t have anything to lose (I know they do but you know what I mean). That game is coming at possibly the worst time.
Quite a negative spin, it's maybe coming at the best time, cos we also don't have anything to lose with the **** run we're on, which could give them some hubris and not realise how above them we are. Plus with a significant rest between the Forest game and Liverpool, and between Liverpool and this game, we actually have a relaxed schedule for once, and will be ready to play a rested and strong team. It's a good game for Howe off the back of a bad run, to get a strong team together, pound the Mackems and push on from there.
It’s a dangerous game for Howe. He has to get it right. It’s one of them games that can as you say kick start a season. Or destroy it. Whichever your mindset.
You're making a perfectly reasonable prediction because the 3 games are Liverpool away Man City home Villa away It's unlikely they will win any of those games and negativity has nothing to do with it ...it's just the most likely result.
He's 6/1 on Skybet lol. Although Klopp had shorter odds than that to be sacked in Feb. Perhaps similar to the Leeds away game in Jan 22, when we were at the bottom, scraped out a win, and everything's been up from there. I mean situation isn't great, but we do have to accept some bad spells can happen....not just to us as well, look at other teams - Man U and Chelsea are utter dogshit, Spurs are down to their bare bones, and even City had an awful spell recently by their standards.... Liverpool might be doing well might now, but they had a mostly awful season last time that they managed to pick up at the end.
