More or less than the 14 points we are currently ahead of you by. Personally I think it will be about the same. Though it is more than a point a game currently.

I think we'll slip whilst Sunderland will get a little better, but at the same time, I can't see any games coming up where Sunderland can win whilst we can't. For that reason, I expect only a few flukey results to make a difference to the 14 point gap, so I'll say around 6-10 points by the end of the season.

Nothing at all wrong with that. It's an honest opinion, we're all allowed to have opinions even if other don't agree with them.

We will be 4 points ahead of Newcastle by the end of the season

and no I am not putting any cash on that, I am not that stupid, but I just have a tiny gut feeling we will.

Listen if you catch us up and the end of the season, I think we'll all being saying well done to you. Got to be honest and say last season when you were 7 points ahead I thought we had no chance of catching you up, yet if it hadn't have been for West Brom's comeback from 3-0 down against us on the last day of the season we would have, so you never know.

Are you ****ing stupid? You've actually just read half a sentence and then used that. <laugh>

Let me just clarify for your simple mind. With the way the teams are now, in every future Sunderland match I can see Newcastle getting a similar, if not a little better, result. The points differences will come from when both teams pick up points when they weren't predicted to, and when they lose points when they weren't predicted to. It's the more flukely results which will dictate the difference.

    It won't be 14...i'm guessing about 6-7,

Don't think we have a hope in hell chance of catching them now.

The way this season is going I dont have a clue. Get the next few games right and a BIG get the right players in January, Campbell back on good form and we could easly nd up in the top ten, just to many if's to know either way.

Same for Newcatle in window and we keep saying the bubble will burst but so far it aint.

Same Syd no idea how many points but the Skunks are going to start to lose more and more games adrenaline, luck and self believe can only get you so far. Top ten for both sides is my prediction.

Breaks my balls to say it but (obviously) the Mags have had a great start and we haven't. The Mags have confidence and we haven't. The Mags are already safe, we aren't. They looked OK even in defeat the other day, we looked ****e, they are playing as a team, we're not. Pardew looks a though he knows what he's doing, Bruce doesn't. I think the Mags will spend big(ish) in January, we will say having Campbell back is like a new signing.
End of season difference in points. At least 15, maybe even 20.

Its hard to admit but they deserve a lot of credit for putting themselves oin the position they are in currently and that gap is going to be almost impossible to close now, especially with our current 'manager' controlling our comeback. However, football as they say is a funny old game and the mags have blown big leads before - much to our amusement.

If we were to bring in a fresh manager with the desire and ambition to win games, I think that gap could be closed considerably and lets face it, if we were to overtake them now it would be hilarious. They would never live it down.

That said, its their lead to blow not ours to win and we need to concentrate on getting away from the relegation places before we can think of overtaking the mags.

You'll beat Wigan, even you's aren't that ****e, and we'll lose at Man Utd, so the gap will be down to 11.

I fancy us against Chelsea at home and then our games after that are games that we should be looking to take maximum. It'll change, we'll have a tough January with Demba and Tiote going to Africa, not to mention our supposed new signing Maiga going as well.(What were the odds in Mali qualifying ffs?). News is rife, don't know if its just twitter, but Oliver Giroud seems to be a massive target, I'd prefer him over Maiga.

My prediction on points? 5-6 difference, either way.

I don't honestly think that there is a huge difference between the teams, the big difference is the managers. I think that Bruce has gone past the point of no return and that it will take a miracle for him to still be in charge at the end of the season.
For Sunderland to catch us, not only do they need to go on a great winning run, they also need us to fall apart. Neither of these look likely at the moment but football has a funny habit of kicking you in the arse, so we cannot really gloat yet.
I cannot see ES waiting too much to longer in replacing Bruce if you don't beat Wigan at the weekend, a draw does not seem good enough, he has to win.
As for the final points difference and in whose favour?....................**** knows!!

Thats about spot on for me. 2 very similar squads. One managed by a man that is letting his players play without fear and reaping the rewards and the other is who strangling the players and has a huge fear of defeat but not an ambition to win.

A change of direction for us would make the NE competition far better but if we stick with Bruce, the mags will finish in a double figure lead come May.
