I just don't see us scoring like this. I cannot understand why we look so scared to shoot. It's like we want to walk the ball into the net and break some sort of record for flicks and tricks along the way. And Son is firmly having one of 'those' games. He has around 15 a season, where anything he tries or touches goes to ****.
He’s one of those strikers where if he doesn’t score he’s terrible. And he’s rarely scored for us since joining… I’m holding onto hope the Saudi’s come in for him in January but I wouldn’t be surprised if we (or he) rejected their offer.
His all round game is extremely limited but he hasn't had any service of note at all this evening. Son and Johnson have been atrocious and while Kulusevski has been busy, the tug to give away the penalty was so lazy and naive.
It’s all hypothetical that playing the young centre backs would mean we look a lot better than we do now. Ange sees them in training and must know if they are ready or not. It’s not like he won’t play young players if he thinks are good enough. Because we are playing so badly it’s easy to make this argument. My gripe is that we went into the season with only two good centre backs and just had our fingers crossed we would get away with it. look how that’s turned out!

None of the goals were due to the CBs. Porro is responsible for most of their chances. He didn't cover Emerson properly when he had to go wide. He also gave the ball away too much.
It’s not even about guaranteeing we’d be better. It’s trying something different to what we know won’t be good. The only guarantee is that Emerson and Davies at CB will never be good enough. 7 goals conceded in 3 games, should’ve been more, could still be more.
