Apart from their owner trying to fleece anyone trying to sign players from him. He’ll want more than we think he is worth. Would be a risk to try and pay what they want on a permanent if we are indeed hoping for promotion as I’m not sure he’ll cut it

Brooks makes a lot of sense. He needs to keep himself in the Wales picture, he wouldn’t be moving far away from his home and he already knows Ryan Fraser, as well as Jack Stephens after last season. His management also have a few other clients at Saints (Edozie, Adams, Lumley, Lewis Payne… Perraud too)
