The players I’d like to see exit, with our thanks for their efforts to make way for new signings In 2024 are, in order of preference: Hendrick Dubs Hayden Ritchie Dummet Manq Gillesphie Target Miggy to stay for me as he’s a good squad player, as is Lascelles. the problem we will have is getting them off the books if we can’t sell them. it might just be time to do a deal to take the pain this season to free up the squad places.
Hendrick is still on the books? Holy cow. Like when it took us years to officially get rid of Gayle Dubravka and Targett should stay, rest can go. Also keep Laecelles and Krafth as back up for time being.
Dubravka needs moving on, the downturn in form coincides with him replacing the injured Nick Pope. Big Dan is or should be finished as a left back as teams are regularly targeting his lack of pace now. Agree with the other usual suspects to bin. As good as they both are, I also think that Wilson and Willock could be walking the tightrope at Newcastle soon due to the amount of games they miss through injury.
Left 2 years ago apparently, was here for 5 years though and managed a whole 5 appearances. Now 33 and playing in the French lower tier. We signed him when he was 26 then we set about ruining his career.
No argument on the fact almost all of this is garbage, and I've thrown in Murphy, Lewis and Fraser as per other comments. Thankfully a lot are out of contract. We need a new GK, LB, CB, RW. They ALL need to be first choice, so someone within that football club needs to wake the **** up and fast. You need two per position in the modern game PLUS Youth.
Definitely keep Dubravka - he has played pretty well since he had to replace Pope. I would actually sell/get rid of the other two if they are still under contract (Karius/Gillespie) Keep Murphy and Targett unless we can actually get some decent money for them. Rest can go.

RW, CB, LB, GK are all required Then maybe we can keep up with the likes of West Ham and Tottenham. Looking more and more likely we will sign Scott McTominay An indication someone at NUFC hasn't got a ****ing clue Or *shudder* Philips
I would be happy with Phillips on loan. That was exactly what we were missing against Forest. With moving Longstaff out to the left to accommodate Miley we had no defensive cover and all 3 goals were counter attacks resulting from our attack breaking down and both central midfielders getting too far forward. Think Tonali will fill that role when he is available so Phillips just until then would be good.
Might be a problem there, think I read City were looking for £7.5m for a season long loan from Everton.
I actually think we massively miss Nick Pope, his kicking is **** but his actual Goalkeeping is well underrated and its not a coincidence our poor form has coincided with him being out though obviously not the only reason.
Now I might be wrong, but reading between the lines, I think what Jak might be trying to say is we should Definitely keep Dubravka - he has played pretty well since he had to replace Pope. Nah. I'm not convinced. If only he could repeat himself all the time and then quote himself then I might begin to believe he really means it.
Funny enough 2 of my family members(both Arsenal fans) think Pope is the 2nd best keeper in the league, would never have thought that myself but he was certainly a bargain and a fine keeper.
