Only seen the highlights on my phone so far - I'll watch the full replay later but when the ball went over to the left side of the box before it was played to Conolly I assumed it was Twine. I'd have expected Delap to hit that first time tbh.

Either way it should have been a goal.

100%. The cretin who sits behind me said it was a 'SITTER' to someone returning from a halftime Jimmy. That was the most sensible thing he's uttered all season.

It wasn't Delap B&S...He was out on the right wing at the time:emoticon-0148-yes:

If it was Twine or Delap, it was still a terrible miss....I think Delap was involved in it. Maybe he could have shot, but passed to Twine who laid it on a plate for Connolly.

Pretty sure Delap and Tufan were involved before Twine squared it for Conolly. But ive only seen it once so far on a small screen. At first glance I thought it was Delap who initially broke down the right.

Twine had a really decent game wide on the left v Cardiff. Generally I don't think he's looked at home there.

At what point does Rosenior come under scrutiny for results? If we lose Friday that’s 5 defeats in seven, relegation form, he will probably rest players for Brum if we win, but he can’t lose that if Blackburn goes tits up, me, I would have got rid weeks ago, he’s a fraud, a Del Boy in the bullshit department, a 3rd division Derby reject.

I’ve never ever said this, but like another poster said, our play is so ****ing boring I could walk away from City quite easily and go watch a Sunday league team.

We have some of the most talented players in the league but insane Rosenior cannot change our play when the oppo manager tells his players to stand and watch us **** about passing around the back until we give it away.

He's already under scrutiny for results. And he's level with 6th on points. Which is about where the board expect him to be at the current stage in the process, if slightly higher.

He plays better on the wing with an overlapping fullback (Coyle) but that was not possible vs Sunderland. But he's no winger.

Be honest, do you think we should have had many more points than we have?

On balance, I think we're making solid progress. And it would appear the chairman agrees. You don't get a contract extension in a year with 2 years left on it if you're not outperforming your expectation.

And we gained 4 against Leicester and L**ds.

Then Bristol just beat Sunderland and Watford either side of us. And QPR were in a false position due to ainsworth freezing out chair and willock also.

    Swings and roundabouts.

We'll end up where we deserve to be for a squad in transition.

Really hoping I can get there. Dreaded winter flu bug wrote all of Christmas off including Boxing Day and looks like this one will be touch and go. It's just the cough left now really but it leaves you drained

Other than Leicester and Ipswich, I don't think there's a side in the league who doesn't think they should have more points than they currently have. On that basis sack the lot of them.

A lot of Sunday league sides play the same way nowadays.

Gateshead in the conference play that way cos they won the league and got to cup finals doing so in previous seasons.

Maybe you'd be better off going to rugby?
