The promotion aim comes with a realism that it will most likely come with a timescale. This year's expectation has always been top 10 with a challenge for the playoffs ( which most sides in the top half will claim to be doing currently) Chairman just wants to see tangible progress year on year - because if we do that over the next 2 or 3, it gives us a realistic chance of promotion.
So you'll know that it's not all down to the head coach then, and there are numerous other factors involved.
Well so many of the new signing interviews must be garbage then... 'what made you decide to sign for Hull City?"... " the manager and the project"
Cos he's publicly said so in every interview. From the start of the season right up to the humberside one a little over a week ago. And the glaring fact that if Liam wasn't performing to expectation, there wouldn't have been a rush to improve his contract.
I've never said he does have any pull at all FFS. Not quite sure why people are so hell bent on twisting things that get said. Plus have you ever wondered why pretty much every signing for every club says very similar in there first interviews after signing for a new club, it's almost like they are coached in media relations and how to act/speak in interviews
"Another downside of having a young inexperienced gaffer who's early in his career.... Doesn't have the contacts, the pull and the experience in the transfer market". Righty O.
So Grant McCann has more pull than Rosie as he has more experience? Sometimes people have the respect of their peers that gives them more pull than their experience affords them.
