And the vast majority of those goals were self inflicted playing through from the back. We are still playing that way but have become better at it and more selective with our passes.
When Bednarek and THB start at CB: 9 goals allowed in 15 games, 7 clean sheets. Any other combination: 20 goals in 9 games, 0 clean sheets. They aren't the sole factor, of course, but it's incredible how much of a difference a settled, competent CB pairing can make. We have the meanest defense in the Championship when they play together...we have one of the worst defenses in the Championship when they do not.
No doubt that they should remain as the starting pair but there was an element of "teething problems" with the system at the start of the season and even Holgate looked better when he had to cover later on. I still wouldn't like to see Charles having to be relied upon in that position though so it's vital that we get cover in January.

Looking at the odds for promotion I'm a bit confused on why Leeds are 4/7 to go up and we're evens. Tempted to lump £50 on us to go up except that would cause us to instantly go on a 10 game losing streak so I won't.

The Team of the Weeks are pretty bad. Leeds had no players, nor manager, in it, the week they smashed Ipswich.
Looks like Norwich are resting Rowe and Sargent for us. Though they are 1-0 down at the moment so probably bring them on.
