I almost feel guilty about being happy in these days of grief, gloom and world end.

November is drawing to a close and I have some good games to enjoy at the SoL,

Wigan,Blackburn then Everton on boxing day, I love the Boxing Day game then Man U on New Years Day.

Christmas and seeing my grandsons face, 7 is a good age for Christmas and new signings in January.

What about the footy I hear you ask, well, its a win, win.

We lose a few, Bruce will go and we can enjoy our new start again with ???????

Bruce stays because we are doing well and climbing the table, like I say a win win.

I know that not everyone can do happy, its life I suppose and its good really, the world needs doom to remind us how bad things could be if we allowed doom in.

A bit tongue in cheek this post, well, after a while its hard to take the continuing desire to find things to moan about.

You can abuse me if you like, I don't mind, happy people can ignore abuse.

Too happy by far syd you not on medication by any chance?
Here's one to dull your natural optimism mate was it not Boxing Day when Everton thrashed us 5-1 or was it 7-1 a few years ago? the way we are playing we'll be lucky to get the 1.

Was it not the Monty Python's 'Life of Brian', he was nailed to a cross at the time, who despite his perilous predicament and imminent death insisted on singing " Always look on the bright side of life , whistle whistle"

That's me being optimistic mate that's how bad we are doing in my opinion.
Still if everyone else is happy with the way things are then that's fine by me onwards and upwards (because downwards would be apocalyptic and none of us want that).

    p.s.

Syd - Every days a good day above ground. Just some are a little harder than others.
I trust you had a good dinner & have had a restful evening. Morning tea time here, YES TEA, not that trendy coffee time that the young ones BUY while trying to look cool with their flash phones that cost more than my first car!
Oh yer & just to keep you envious summers on its way :emoticon-0103-cool:

To bloody right & you know what, if we don't I'll be pretty grumpy over brecky.
Then I'll get over it before going down to the park with my kids to play cricket, kick a ball & ride our bikes.
Life’s too short to spoil it worrying about something you can't control.

Sunderland players arrive by car and go in from 12.50 on, most between 1 and 1.15.

Away team, Wigan, will arrive at 1.30.

Stand, looking at stadium, on left and to the left of the barrier for best view, you will see a rather good looking tall chap there, say hello.

We have to get 3 points on Saturday, prior to the home draw against 10 man Blackburn they've lost something like 10 games in a row. If we cannot beat them then I'm applying to be a member of the doom and gloom camp.
