Agreed, but he’s played there before. I would prefer he’s played at CB but bedders and HB have been doing amazingly recently

What’s he like as Centre Forward? Got to be better than Ross!

Sure. But it's good if Jack is match fit and getting minutes, if ever THB or Beddie get injured/suspended.

Also, might need to give KWP a rest sometimes.

Surely that a basic requirement. Even I know that and I’m not medically qualified. It has to be a right and a left leg. Two of the wrong sort is just silly. 5-0 hysteria is setting in, or is the wine?

Minor thing but I much prefer Laurence Hereman on commentary over Ian Wilding, on the OS coverage / highlights

Hum, you all know I’m a non RM style believer but hats off! Can’t knock today, DJL were cracking before game. Finished with Killers - Brightside; perfect preemptive to game. Perfect game, little bit of fortune for first & second goals but overall, brilliant. You’ve sold me RM. Not sure about next year but that’s a million miles away. There’s a lot of “flow” before then.

Made me laugh out loud a couple of times today, firstly with his ‘ARRIBA, ARRIBA, ARIBO!’ for the opening goal and then repeatedly calling Ryan Fraser ‘the clockwork mouse’ <laugh>

    Just got back.
    What. A. Game.

Seriously brilliant from Martin and the lads. Every one of them could have been MOTM. Edozie ****ing terrified their defence. That cheeky little nutmeg was beautiful, lots of dangerous balls across the box that a Danny Ings type player would have a field day with. Brilliant from Fraser (what a signing!) And again massive props to Aribo, loved that he got his own goal music <laugh>

Swansea were no mugs either, much better than Blackburn, they just didn't get a sniff of the ball.

5-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We scored 5! Starting to chip away at that ****ty GD now.

    Get. In.

BTW, did anyone else appreciate the change of goal music when Aribo scored? <laugh>

I thought that this was the best home performance since the days of Ronald Koeman. It was a fantastic effort and even better than the previous match at St Mary's which was excellent itself. Swansea may have been very poor and offered no threat but by the time that the third goal had gone in, it was effectively an exhibition match.

I hope they do not release Mara. He did not get on the scoresheet yet he looks better everytime I see him play. No point singling out any particular players as everyone was at the top of their game. Hugely impressive.

Early days still I know, but just how much of a cult hero is Ryan Fraser becoming?

He's already above Tadanari Lee and Papa Waigo, and for me he's practically reached Cuco and Guly status already. If he continues this form to the end of the season then he's gotta be up there with Longy and Maya.

I see that Boufal is now playing in Qatar but unfortunately there is a break in their season so I cannot watch him later this week.
