Even the most optimistic Villa fan would say it's utterly ****ing stupid to claim they're going to be the next Man City at this stage.
You realise they have owners worth about 13 billion. They are going for it look at the transfers they've been making.. when they land top 4 they are ready and won't fall away like nufc. They're already competing for 1st not 4th. Newcastle are done for in terms of top 4 for a considerable amount of years.
Doing well and I like them, have a better squad than Spurs I'd say. But a few injuries will detail them, not title contenders yet, or near. But again, this is about laughing at Man U, not an opportunity to come out with ludicrous arguments about us never being in the top 4 again.
They sold Grealish and sat on it until now.. they are going to sign more class players in January and then in the summer if they land top 4 they'll do what Newcastle didn't have the balls to do.
They're are joint top ... mate they're absolutely brilliant with a top manager. They're definitely in the title race.
With coherent arguments? He starts crying about mental gymnastics if you do that. He's ****ing off Villa so hard at the moment that the pitch will be covered in spunk by the end.
They've been playing Thurs nights all season If you look at their team only Guimareas and Gordon might get a start.. maybe Botman.. the likes of Duran are much better than our back up players aswel
Your big throbbing veiny hard-on for Villa is getting so noticeable that it's about to burst through your trousers.
OK you can never say never but it's unlikely. There's ffp, Aston Villas rise, Tottenhams return, Liverpool established as one of the best again, Newcastle's return to reality , Saudi Arabias seeming to have more interest elsewhere and the inevitable super league I suspect Newcastle might be just end up the next Everton at this point. I'm not joking or winding here I genuinely think Newcastle will struggle to ever get back in.
Villa keeper lucky, could have been red carded but wasn't at least a yellow ? but wasn't it ended up not even a freekick -- shocking officials and VAR
