Hull Old Town is better than Sunderland and Newcastle for pubs.

It's no good playing Delap on the wing
He is good enough to get past players but eventually he loses the ball so it's pointless having him start a run from the touchline because by the time he gets to the penalty area he loses the ball

Hull Old Town was better for beer but not so good for girls (at least in the late 60s and early 70s)

TBF I agree with Beale, thought they were better man for man, and carried so much more threat going forwards due to actually having some pace and people prepared to go outside of the full back as well as cutting in.

I thought they were the slightly better team but only because we played so deep and invited pressure. They’re not a very good team at all though and created next to nothing. A bit of positive forward thinking football and we could and should have absolutely hammered a team like that. We played really badly and still had the best two opportunities of the game.

Finally back home after that **** show

One of the worst games I’ve ever seen live, players didn’t look bothered at all, horrendously slow and no creativity

Actually there was that chance where Ingram made a good save. I forgot about that. But yeah as your stats show they only had 3 shots on target. They hardly created anything.

You could see a goal coming for a while and sure enough it wasn't going to us....We could still be playing at midnight and wouldn't have scored.

That loss is as much on Rosenior as the players. Stop playing Twine out-wide it doesn’t work. He was coming into form behind the frontman. Give Harry Vaughan ago, he can beat a man and is our second best winger at the club. We needed more energy in midfield at 50/60 minute more, Doherty should have come on for Seri if not even possibly started.

That just felt like one of those classic Boxing Day games where you rest a few and play more players with energy, we weren’t at it especially first half.

We need a clear out as well. Buy two new wingers and two full backs, pref ones who can take the rigours of the Championship.

Don’t get me wrong, we have made excellent strides Rosenior, and I don’t see anyone better for the job. But sometimes watching us when we are poor is hard work. Everything is regimented and a bit predictable. On too Friday.

Agree with most of that. Hopefully, the wheels are not about to come off.....On Vaughan he never ever goes on the outside. He always comes inside because he's got no left foot, then gets easily crowded out. Perhaps he should be on the right.

When I saw the starting XI, I had absolutely no idea what formation we were going to play. Now the game’s finished, I’ve still got no idea.

Too many players not on it today, we played some decent stuff in patches but overall, it was a poor performance.

We could really do with Philogene making a speedy recovery.

True......It's a reflection on the squad depth, which, in truth, isn't that strong.

the first half was crazy. It was like Rosenior tried to reinvent the wheel in two days. Literally those games go familiar and get at them.

Poor overall really. Injuries and fixtures coming thick and fast beginning to take its toll. Felt like it was going to fizzle out to 0-0 till Clarke provided some quality.

performances like today make lost points earlier in the season more frustrating.
