Mid table Charlton visit mid table Leyton Orient in a mid table League 1 fixture.

As it’s an early kick off all the other teams will be watching this match with great interest, to see if either side can change from mid mid table to upper mid table before the afternoon is out.

May out wide again presumably and the most interesting thing about this game is that Darren Pratley has returned to the O’s starting lineup for the first time in weeks.

If anyone is interested here are the starting lineups…….

Not interested much, but hey ho.

One away win all season in the league.
Three clean sheets in 28 league games (all competitions. No clean sheets in any Cup games, not even against Cray Valley PM)
    Form down the toilet.
Some friends of mine who used to go to every game are now only going to the Valley. Fans are fading away with disillusionment.

I wonder what Apples will say this time.
    No, scrub that.
He can't say anything worth listening to. We are worse than a Christmas cracker joke. And cheaper too.

Those poor writers on the website will have to bin their "eight games unbeaten" headline and think of something else.

After Saturday, it was a real challenge to watch this. But Charlton rise to the occasion and serve up a performance even worse than Saturday. Three draws and a loss from four winnable games. It wasvso bad it was embarrassing.
Steve Brown saying forums and social media are going to light up on the back of that! I think the fallout is going to be enormous.

I wonder if the trumpeters for the new owners will actually come out and admit that they got it totally wrong at some point and that they should have perhaps listened to alternative voices ?

There's nothing so pitiful as witnessing a useful idiot turning on his string-puller.

It's got to the stage where you fully expect us to concede a late goal, and are rarely disappointed.

Jesus wept. We're 14 points below 6th place now.
    Charlton are a basket case.

Apart from the demise of A2V, how are we better off in any way than we were under Sandgaard?
The people running the Club are just as useless. Only now they are faceless as well.

Can anyone honestly see a way forward for our club? Appleton will probably get the sack soon, but will be replaced by another journeyman L1 manager. As long as Roland holds the assets we're unlikely to get the sort of owner willing to invest the sort of money needed to get us back on track. In the short term I foresee a relegation scrap. The manager continues to say publicly that the players are not good enough, hardly likely to get the sort of response we want. So how the hell do we get out of this mess?

I fear there is worse to come, including a move away (eviction by another name) from the Valley within two or three seasons.

By then CAFC will probably be in League Two, with no way forward except downwards.
It will be time for the fans to take our Club back with the creation of AFC Charlton Athletic, and a campaign on all fronts to make sure Roland or his family never sees a penny of profit from the old Valley site on Floyd Road.

And just 10 points above the relegation places.

We’re now 12th, so two places BELOW where we finished last season under Sandgaard.

‘We’ are clearly NOT better off under the new owners, but that was obviously going to be the case to anyone with a bit of sense and an ability to smell bullsh*t. It never mattered how rich your owners are, just how much of that wealth they are willing to spend.

It’s not even like the very rich owners are better off either. They are losing £6-8 million per year, which won’t change, as revenues will fall in line with our league position and quality of players.

So the only people better off are……………………..Methven, Rodwell and Scott, who are all now drawing a very nice salary for delivering crap football, failure and falling attendances.

Nice work if you can get it.

And huge numbers of, I’m afraid, gullible Charlton supporters, still think things will work out fine if we just trust them and give them a few more transfer windows to sort things out. Let’s see where we are in xxxxx ? Complete and utter boll*x and delusional thinking.

Ivor has been slamming Appleton, although biting his tongue a lot after he sold his big fat welsh bum to SE7 in the summer.
He's now slowly starting to question Scott, BUT not surprisingly saying nothing about Methven. Perhaps VIP for the Orient game has bought his silence?!:emoticon-0172-mooni

These three clowns will be rushing off after the game to finish off their Xmas scoff, paid for by the thousands of pounds a month they are trousering for doing f*** all.
