Took us up and had us very comfortable when he left. There was no valid reason for him to go when he did. That’s the point I was making. Who knows where it would have went, we will never know, but it’s straight up fact there was no solid grounds him going when he did.
We l’d have an extra cb to cover and an extra body comfortable on the left and an overlapping attacking player to support Clarke and we could drop into a defensive 4 as Hume drops in. I think personally we’ll look ****e lining up in standard 4 with the personnel we’ve got. Mayenda and Rusyn give us pace to change the one dimensional way we play. Won’t happen like.
Yep i dont want a back 4 either tbh, i def wouldnt have Jewi at Lwb tho - he has hardly played and you need to defend at wingback and he is very poor defensively I would play clarke as lwb, not ideal i know but id then get a couple of attacking players on in that front 3 As you said it wont happen and will likely be the same system as every othwr game Find out soon
I thought about Clarke but we’re so short of goals up front and he’s it. We could really do with Cirkin or Alese back quick style, more even than Pembele.
