    1. Me - for not wasting time in going to the game.
    2. Me - for not swearing at Mrs. A when she (( quite correctly )) ridiculed the 'performance' by The Gills.
    3. Me - for not slapping Mrs. A ...(( I never would )), when she ridiculed me for watching the crap by The Gills......
...... and - I actually defended The Gills by saying that FGR were worse, and that, as the Home team, FGR should have tried harder to entertain their fans................at which point, Mrs A asked me what happened at the Bradford game....(( did I say I wouldn't slap Mrs A ? ))

I contemplated after the game that I had wasted 90 minutes of my life and at 66 years of age that is very important

I watched the game back in the end (full match replay). Difficult really to say, as I was doing other stuff while the game was on - well I knew it was 0-0 so what was there to miss.

First thing I'd say is I wasn't expecting FGR to be a walkover, as the players would be wanting to impress the new manager, Gills seemed to improve after the substitution and a sandwich (soz couldn't help myself Peter Lloyd's phrases just make me laugh).

    1. Turner
    2. Mahoney
    3. Dieng for at least trying to score

Quick question for anyone, why is Alexander not starting?

Probably because McKenzie is a better defender. However Alexander is better going forward.

Yeah it was very noticable when he came on as sub, i felt the dynamics of the game changed and we then looked the most likely to score. I see some comments on twitter and it's very misleading some of the views, until you actually see the game and gain your own perspective on it - I know we all get frustrated at times, but when you see players like Alexander and J Williams coming off the bench, that's a damn good bench to have by Gillingham standards, also Ogie on there as well. I don't pretend to be any tactician or judgement of people's ability, but I think Ogie should be tried at a more forward role, because he scares the life out of the opposition when he goes forward But hey ho, it's just my subjective view and probably never likely to happen.

I will admit I came very close to putting Alexander in my top three, just for the six minutes of normal time that was remaining when he came on.
