Hate negativity; it just breeds fail and being down. However, I challenge anyone to bring me a positive about Beale. I do not want him to fail. I want every single poster to laugh at me. However, I think it will be a disaster
That he hasn’t been here long enough to influence that today. Quite honestly I think the hateful furore has had an impact on today’s result. Beale had heard about it, Speakman had clearly had feedback. It doesn’t help focus on a game when their own fans are going for the jugular.
Yep. Pre kick off you could feel the negativity. It was ridiculous. Most will know little to nothing about Beale, yet base their opinions on other people’s. My positive is exactly as yours is. That looked a Mike Dodds setup. He’s basically done the job today. Bringing Beale in just before 4 games back to back isn’t great either. No time between games to stamp your own plans. one thing he has over Mowbray based on today, he recognised the high press was causing problems first half, so he changed it and went long. Mowbray never did that, and it often cost us
What are your negatives about him? Not gossip you've heard from Rangers fans and other sources but solid, quantifiable criticisms that need listening to. Enlighten me please.
The result was matched by the fans deciding to leave early on mass. South Stand is meant to the loyal lot lol I thought the result hugely flattered them.
reading between the lines there, it seems Speakman has an influence on who is getting picked on a Saturday. He’s made some very good signings for us at the club, but perhaps he’s overstepping the line when it comes to the football side. He could be taking advantage of KLDs youth and naivety and maybe going behind what a sporting director should do. The only person who can tone that down is KLD. Who knows. But Mowbray is the second manager in succession that has fallen out with Speakman. Looking back to what Neil said when he left, it’s starting to make sense now.
This has been clear for ages. I must have repeated it 20 times. Got pelters for it. Why do you think Beale got appointed? It's the speakman show , always has been. We have improved as a club so he has some credit but it's getting into testing waters time. I listed all the players he brought in the other day , if anyone did the same, they will be surprised at how many have been flops.
Is the accusation he’s picking specific players or there are guidelines in place on team composition? You must play O’Nien or Bellingham vs. Max 3 players over 24 and min 3 players under 24? I don’t think the latter is the end of the world if there is a clear focus on developing youth.
So, what is it you're asking for? This all seems clear to me. Either KLD is running the club his way ... ... or he's a gullible dope and KS is running the club.

I think they have a plan and are running the club a certain way. It's yielded good success however it's all coming a bit unstuck without the allowance for flexibility.

I'm sure, speaking just from pure guesswork, that there's provision for flexibility but the building of the structure hasn't finished yet. The club was demoralised, chaotic and without any structure and we've been addressing that while trying to make progress on the field. Having a manager walk out didn't help and Mowbray being at odds with the conditions he initially accepted wasn't great either. I don't know how many flops we have but I think we have a good basis for progress that, to be honest, isn't evident at times. You can go through most Championship squads and list them but we are finding gems among the rubble Perhaps Neil and Mowbray can claim they were unaware of the set up at the club but this is where it becomes real ... ... Beale is under no illusions so KS and him have their necks on the block. Whatever, I'm prepared to be patient, although I'm sure people will say I'm accepting mediocrity, part of the problem, etc etc etc.
This thing Speakman has said about team selection, " the head coach has final say on team selection " that frightens me. i would have thought head coach would have total say on team selection,
never mind scoring the biggest thing he needs to sort out is are organisation at the back and to start keeping clean sheets that's are biggest problem,
This summer the recruitment was poor. Previous windows there’s been a balance of a Pritchard or Baath along the newbies but not summer. Not helped by injuries to be fair like - Evans, Alese, Cirkin all bring league experience- but there are a lot of neat, technical, ineffective players. We also lost Stewart and Amad’s goals and replaced them with not many goals and goals build confidence and belief to a team. We knew that Evans was out but we didn’t replace his Skill set. I think Mowbray said it but its importance was underestimated. Consequently look at how many goals are conceded from counter breaks into that space 3 yesterday. Every artist needs the right paint and canvas and I’m more worried about this being put right than the coach personally.
