Probably, he was a right scoundrel, but lots of fun and mischief, he was a one off. we eventually got on like a house on fire after a rocky start and I often wonder what happened to him. <laugh>

Any idea what TV programme that was from?

Don't know other than it was a US show .
Digging around I didn't realise he'd just passed away in September, and was an accomplished musician.

Been a bad day. Hate it when the lads get beat. Like it less when we are unhappy with the club, rightly so. **** it. Jambi

Just how I feel at the moment, back from the match, sat down with my first G&T for over a year and nearly spat it out, I used soda water instead of tonic water, what a waste of good gin <doh>

Scott Hutchison was a brilliant but troubled songwriter.

He wrote and recorded a song called Floating in the Forth then took his own life in the manner he sang about in the song, very sad

Sad to hear that mate. Clearly, a very gifted artist. I'll admit I was very jealous of the skill at finger picking of of the strings because I am awful at that. Take care me marra

I got into the mod revival as a young un which was a progression from being into ska, skinhead, two tone.
I remember buying an album thinking it was a mod group small hours which turned out to be small faces.
A lucky discovery as small hours were pretty shìt and tin soldier would become one of my favourite songs

    Along with all or nothing.

I started out as an urchin <laugh> graduated to a psuedo Ted, Drainpipes , Drape, etc. and been everything since, last fad was mento ,Calypso and Reggae always in early , went to games in red gold and green , mostly through being in the right place at the right time and having some great friends in which I have been blessed. Listening to Radio Jamaica helped a bit with the latter. My late sister saw the Small Faces in Birmingham visiting relatives in Worcester, one of their first gigs I was told, and she came back full of praise , and of course she as always was right. god bless her.
PS saw the Two Tone tour at the Mayfair in Newcastle, not as good as the real thing imo but still a good night. :emoticon-0148-yes:
