I know head coach is not same as manager, but it's still the main leadership position on the football side. Need to command respect and inspire. Think we've royally messed up here.

give the bloke a chance...he's been in the seat a few days. If in 6 months nothing has changed then we can judge

Very poor, Pritchard was a massive miss today.
Huggins looks like he’s got a bad injury which makes matters worse, I feel for the lad, he’s been quality this season. Hope it’s not as bad as it looked

We've got good players, but they need to stop ****ing around with square passes at the back and midfield and get the ball forward quicker. Clarke and Roberts need telling to beat the man and cross the ball instead of trying to dribble it into the goal.
Teams are going through us with 3 or 4 quick forward passes - we should be doing the same.

The ****wits at the end going on “****ing get this manager sacked” literally. 3 days in! We have some idiot fans. Lad behind me whole game “sick of watching this ****.” I said “why stay? So you can boo them Off at the end? Great supporter you eh?”

I wonder, if we’d gone for one of the managers these people “wanted” (and probably know as much about) if we’d lost 3 nil if they’d say “first game, only just through the door” etc!

I’m looking forward to Christmas with my family. Beers in the fridge. Hot beef dinner ready soon. I love SUNDERLAND. I support them. Looking forward to Boxing Day

The last manager we got in that I actually wanted was Martin O’Neill and he didn’t last very long

A tough day. It’s easy to be negative but there’s a lot to be pleased with about the club.

I’m going to (try to) log off so Merry Christmas, lads and lasses. Take care.
