Forest made a mistake sacking Cooper. They won't go down this season either way because of how bad Burnley, Sheff Utd and Luton are. Forest owner deserves relegation and a financial hit. Dealing with Galatasaray is a non starter for me. The way that club acted throughout that whole episode is unforgiveable. I wouldn't be comfortable with money from the Leeds fans pockets finding it's way in to their coffers. **** that and **** them and anyone connected to them. I think it was a weak year for SPOTY to be fair. None of the shortlist really stood out. I'm OK with women commentators and pundits as long as they understand the game. The two that are half decent at it are Michelle Owen and the excellent Emma Hayes. Emma Hayes is better than most male pundits. I've no time for the rest of them.

Lucy is one of the best and have no problem with her either, but like say besides those 3 the rest grate on me and know nothing. They know about a different type of football that needs no power, speed, athleticism or skills and should be played on a smaller pitch with smaller goals as the lady keepers look like slow motion divers getting nowhere near ….

nope we can't as except in special circumstances, their player registration can only be transferred inside one of the two approved transfer windows. Given that the summer transfer window doesn't open until after the play offs are completed means they would not be available for selection, even if they returned to the club one day after the January transfer window closed
I see Phil Hay is now saying Cooper, Ayling and Dallas will not be getting new contracts so will leave in the summer. My question is why wait, they wont play much, don’t add much, let them leave next month and get now clubs. Get them off the wages and use it for players we will use
Why wait ?, probably because they are under contract and have very little resale value. Even if we release them in January, we would still have to pay up their contracts, so how much would we actually save in reality. Instead of paying them monthly for 6 months, we pay out a lump sum equivalent to 4 months of their salary in January. If we need that saving to sign new players, then our financials are a lot more precarious that most of us consider Say Lincoln City decide to come in for Ayling and the club agrees he can go for free. Lincoln say we can only pay 25% of your present salary, which means either Ayling decides to see out the rest of his contract with us or we end up having to pay the difference between his earnings with Lincoln and ourselves.
Aski where did I say sell them. I would allow them to sort out a new club and there would be countless willing to take Ayling and Cooper from the Championship or SPL. Dallas would still be able to get his ducks in a row especially as he is back on the grass. Try not to put words in my mouth…. Sigh as much as you want mate but time to face some truths. Ayling and Cooper should have been upgraded 2 summers ago and were part of the problem last season getting us relegated. On top of both being part of that dire defence we have injuries and suspensions and the odd penalty given away. Dalls has now been out for 2 years and yes they are all legends and should never be forgotten for the part they played in promotion. But they are and have been finished at the top level. My opinion
